Tested the same glass of tap water before and after filtering through this jug and the change was barely even detectable. Started at neutral pH of around 7, but couldn't have been any higher than around 7.2 or 7.3 afterwards. I did at least 10 more tests and the change was so minimal I thought I was imagining it at times. Only good thing I can say is that the water does taste lovely afterwards so it's doing something, it's just not alkalising it.

Excellent clean refreshing water.

The water tastes so clean and pure. The only downside is that the jug doesn’t pour very well and the flap that should close when the jug is full doesn’t!! It’s advertised as you don’t have to wait to pour the water but I have to wait longer than my last filter jug otherwise I get unfiltered water pouring out too!!

Water taste great, but there are issues with the jug itself.I have read the previous reviews prior purchasing, hoping that it might have been few unlucky once.Unfortunately the lid is flimsy.When pouring water into glass etc, water spills around it. The flap doesn’t open automatically when pouring water from the tap, you have to physically push it down.This is a let down and I would suggest to review the design as the water is really good and you really can taste the difference!!

I'm quite pleased with is product. You really can taste the difference. I use it every day I don't think I'll be changing back anything soon. The other input I'll add now this is nothing against the product. And only my opinion. If there are more than two persons in your household you may need a larger jug or more than one.

I have used a lot of alkaline filters and so far this one is my favourite. The design is very slimline and I think appealing to the eye. It also has a small electric display that tells u exactly how many days the filter has been used and when it needs changing, but my favourite bit is that the tap water filters very quickly so no long waits if u use all the water in the jug, or when u change the filter. I haven’t tested the alkalinity of the water because I have better things to do with my time, however the water tastes good so no complaints from me. The Only disappointing thing I found was that it only comes with one free filter.

While we're try to use it, it spill out from the top part. It is completely filtering to tap water but don't expect wonderful taste for it. However, better than other filter jug

Overall I was quite disappointed. I was expecting great things but I don't use this anymore, so I've reverted to bottled water.When you pour water through the filter, it only filters half the amount so you end up having to refill a lot.I emailed the supplier and they just suggested buying a new filter!! The whole point of providing a filter with the jug wasn't to buy a new one so quickly.So now the jug sits in the cupboard unfortunately.
