Happy Hen Treats Nest Box Bucket Kit

They do exactly what they say! Fit is exactly! Very strong! Will last forever, if taken care of! The only problem I had is mounting them. But it’s more the way my coop is designed. I raise Batam Silkies and they can’t jump every high, because their feather are more like cat’s fur. But my Americana’s don’t have any problem with the placement.

This is a great idea and I purchased two expecting to be able to throw them on a couple buckets fill them with shavings and give to a few birds so they have an extra place to get away from the record-breaking frigid wind temps we’re getting the next 36 hours. In my case it was a nightmare took me hours to attach it properly in his cage so it wouldn’t tip over and he’d be able to get in and out of it and roost on the bar if he wanted. What might’ve been something simple for another person isn’t for me which is one of the reasons I bought these so To have this cause an even worse more stressful more time consuming delay in preparing my birds for record-breaking wind chills is upsetting to say the least.They don’t fit as tightly as they should so I had to drill a couple holes and put two screws so it wouldn’t spin left or right if the bird tries to roost. I’ll have a built wood base for the second one.

I’ve now purchased two of these and love em.. I didn’t think my buffs would use dues to size… I was wrong, they started laying again.. Happy Chicks equals eggs!

This product snaps onto a bucket very easily and is very easy to assemble. Unfortunately, do you have to screw the bucket onto a wall or put it someplace very sturdy. I purchased this so I could have a ground level place for a broody hen to hatch eggs. None of my hens could fit into the opening. None of the hands of even tried to lay an egg in it. I had to reinforce it so it wouldn’t tip over. Definitely I regret purchasing

Fine as far as it goes and a great idea at first glance. You put the "lid" on and there's a perch but there is nothing to hold the bucket in place now that it's on its side. The poor hen tries to get in and the whole thing slides across the coop! There needs to be a cradle type holder for the other end. I'm making one, but honestly, this is a serious flaw. Now they will probably never go in the thing again no matter what I do. Waste of time and money.

Hi I love these, too bad my chickens don't. Can't decide if it's because my chickens are spoiled rotten or if they don't like the orange bucket I put them on. I'm going to be playing around with them and see if I can coax my chickens to use them. I will say my cat love to curl up in these so may just be for the cat instead of the chickens. And anyone thinking chicken won't use it because cats in there don't know my animals. Cat and chickens sleep next to each other and when the cat had kittens, one of my chickens decided to lay her eggs in with the babies.

My first order ne er showed up. However I did get replacements.
