Door Sill Guards for 2007-2016 Jeep Wrangler, Black

This was a needed addition for my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Basically I got this as my other half has issues climbing into the Jeep and bangs the sill with her clunky shoes. These were easy to install, seem like a quality product and protects my Jeep from the other half.. I also like the actual Jeep logo on it. You would think Jeep would make this a stock item from the factory for the price you pay for them these days.

Door entry guards are Mopar parts and for the money the quality is good. The plates are not just hard ABS plastic, but have a softer texture to them; they are stiffer than just rubber, but not hard plastic. Installation is a breeze and everything needed is included - no bolting, just a double-sided tape and alcohol swabs. I have the 4-door variety, the front guards are branded "Jeep" while the rear guards have just the fake diamond plate pattern. Not only will they protect the door entry, but they dress up the vehicle.

These door guards look very sharp and fit perfectly in the door jamb. They'll definitely protect the paint on the door, especially if you actually use your Jeep as intended and spend a lot of time taking the top on and off! I was hesitant to take the top off before I had these guards, as I had to stand directly on the rear door jambs in hard-soled shoes and didn't want to scratch my week-old car! Don't have to worry about that anymore! I just installed these, so I can't speak to the longevity of the adhesive, but it seemed very substantial and strong when I applied it to my door. The opening and closing of the doors are not affected in any way. Overall: these look sharp, protect your paint and are definitely worth the small investment!

Looks great. Easy to put in. Make sure you clean the space with the alcohol wipes before placing and just stick them down and that's it. Looks factory (probably should be). Only gripe is they seem to get pretty marked up easily themselves but at least they provide protection. Much cheaper than the stainless steel ones (which kept coming up) that I bought for my last Jeep. These are pretty secure and a better fit. Worth the money.

They go on easy but they do not completely protect the paint in the front or the back because the plastic does not wrap completely around the sill. And the fit is okay, nothing special. If I had the money back I would look for something higher quality. These are mostly cosmetic and you cant really see them most of the time. Going to see if they will take these back after install. Will update after talking to seller... -2016 JK The response from the seller to a customer issue is as important as the product... I talked to customer service, and they did right by me. I still have some quibbles about the door guards, but I will happily change my review to five stars based on the response from the seller. The item was as described, and they took care of me when I had an issue.

i HATED how every time i opened the door of my jeep i see dirt and what could possibly be scratches so i decided to buy the door sills and thank god i did first they look nice and look very OEM i don't know why jeep didn't just include them with the car but its a jeep. anyway they protect from dirt and scratches and they holding up pretty good. they came with double sided tape which so far is strong enough to keep it in place and i have passengers stepping on it almost everyday and i don't think its going anywhere. over all i am very happy with those and i do recommend it to anyone with a jeep

Nice, simple accessory. Easy to install. Just ensure the metal is ultra-clean and the weather is in the 70s. As a precaution, do everything the instructions say plus a little. For example, I cleaned the surface with the enclosed alcohol wipes AND with wax and grease remover. I pressed very hard on the surface for several minutes and I used a hair dryer to warm it. This ensures a proper bond! They are not coming off and look great, matching the slush mat mats. A must for any Jeep owner and you cannot beat the price. Enjoy.

I had a 2012 Wrangler that didn't have these, and the repeated dragging shoes/boots across the door sills scratched through the paint, and eventually started to rust. Came even faster once the Jeep was lifted and was harder to get across the sill without a "touch and go landing". Decided on my 2018 JKU Rubicon, would add these before the scratches got too bad. Easy install, looks like it belongs (matches jeep waffle style mats in the car) and great protection.
