ペーパーバックという事で、作りはそれなりですが、意外にもザラ紙にされた印刷が味わいがあり、写真も淡く綺麗でとても素敵でした。 文字も可愛らしいフォントで、写真と文章の配置も、おとぎ話の絵本らしくて開いて飾りたくなります。 文章が、本来のストーリーを簡略化し、写真に合わせて短くまとめた感じです。タイトル通り舞踏会がメインな感じですが、短い絵本なので仕方がないですね。 最後の方に、舞踏会からの帰り道に映画では観ないシーンの写真があり驚きました。映画ではカットされた部分でしょうか。 とても可愛らしくて良かったです。

What a beautiful book I looked through it as soon as the parcel arrived . I am sure my granddaughter will love it. Hopefully it will encourage her to learn to read.
