How hot is Rani Extra Hot Chilli Powder?

It measures 60,000 to 65,000 Scoville units - roughly twice the heat of cayenne. Start with a small pinch and build the heat up to taste.

What is in it besides chilli?

Nothing at all. It is 100 percent ground red chilli with no salt, no fillers, no anti-caking agents and no added colour.

How do I use extra hot chilli powder in cooking?

Bloom a pinch in hot oil at the start of a curry, or stir it into marinades, dals, chutneys, rubs and pickles for a clean, direct heat.

Is it vegan, kosher and gluten friendly?

Yes. It is all natural, non-GMO, vegan, kosher and gluten friendly, packed in a no-barrier PET jar by a USA company selling spices for over 40 years.
