Hunters Specialties Realistic Sounds Easy-to-Use Weather Resistant H.S. Strut Quick Strike Peg Pack of 3

I tend to prefer a simple carbon striker, finding its tone in wet weather (a constant during turkey season in the river hills of Southeastern MO) to be consistent when used with a glass call. I seem to lose these darn things in the woods faster than I can find replacements, so I figured I would give the three-pack a try. This mix pack does provide decent tone, but it's not perfect. I wish the carbon striker wasn't partially (mostly) sheathed in wood, as I feel the tone is off a bit due to the wood sheathing. The result is I end up carring one of the wood strikers for working from blinds or on dry days, and reserve the carbon tip to those wet situations where the wooden striker's tone starts to fail. Overall this peg pack is a decent solution to procuring a couple of extra strikers for turkey season, giving acceptable but not great tones to lure that big tom in.

Good sound

Good product. They definetely produce different sounds. Ag first I couldnt work the strike with the plastic end but after some practice it become my favorite. For some reason I couldn't master the the cross cut to help on my Primos glass call. It does good cutting though. From aesthetic perspective I would suggest staining the tops of the strikes. They look too plain.

My husband is a turkey hunter and he asked for these for Christmas. He is quite pleased with them. We will see how they work out when he actually goes hunting.

Love the crosscut striker. The acrylic tip striker isn't bad. Haven't really used the other one much. Seems to flat on the end. I think I might round it off a little with sand paper.I called several gobblers within bow range this spring (7 birds within 15 yards in one day) using mainly the crosscut striker with an aluminum call and a slate call.

High quality. Really like the poly carb on my glass call. Great selection of the one thing I tend to lose most.

Continue to drop my strikers during the hunt. Ordered these and they’re great. I’ll order again for next season to have more on hand. Can’t beat the price and quality of the product.

Sounds good

I ordered these strikers for my slate Turkey call to have some spares. I tried them and there definitely is a different call pitch with each of them. I actually like these better than the striker that came with my original call. Recommended
