How to Build Big-Inch Ford Small Blocks

I am looking to build my first stroker 347 and this book gives some great insight into strokers and various configurations...glad I purchased & I'm sure it'll help tremendously.

Good info for small block Ford build.

Well, I'm building a seriously stroked engine. A 410 SBF for methanol. This is a great book on the hows and such. A little generic, but if you haven't build a stroker, this is a good starting point. Yes, a few of the pictures and text is really a review, but there's plenty of information for you to get started.My first problem is that he assumes that you're building a wimpy stroker. Cast crank? Hydraulic lifters? What the heck is that all about? And there's very little discussion on anything other that the 302. How about those of us building off of 351s?There are several "chapters" in the back on different builds with different objectives. And one on 351s. And, oh so wonderful, one on Clevlands, which also means I can go with a Boss if I can find the right block. But these discussions are presentations are probably the best part of the book, because they present "real life" examples, including specific parts and concepts.The third problem I have is that this book is rather stale. It's almost 8 years old, and that can be a life time for parts development. And prices!!!!But I'm happy I bought it.

BOOK HAS A LOT OF GOOD BUILDING INFORMATION. ALOT OF THIS WAS A REFRESHER AS I HAVE BUILT THESE IN THE PAST BUT THIS HELPED BRING ME BACK UP TO SPEED. GOOD BOOK OVERALL.

I bought this book for my son who was rebuilding a Ford. As any mother will know, no complaint s a good sign. Sorry I can't review it muself.

It’s an okay book but the first half is about how to rebuild a small block ford, and the second half is all about product kits and such.. not a lot of technical information
