Spread was about to expire
I should have known by the packaging (the new label is white and like many products, the new packaging is one once lighter) that this would not be fresh. It came within 6 weeks of expiration date and unlike the same Jif product that I get in the store, it was not as creamy and was starting to separate. It didn't taste as good either. Very disappointed.

Only 2nd best
I wanted to try it, to be fair, but it's not as good as Nutella. I think I'll stick with Nutella.

Total crap. Nothing good in this stuff and the taste
Total crap. Nothing good in this stuff and the taste, not so much. Very disappointed in the quality of this stuff so much so that I tossed it in the trash. Going back to my yummy Nutella.

I Love This Stuff!
I couldn't disagree more with the other review on here. I am not a fan of Nutella, which is why I am not comparing the two. I loved to spread this on a pancake in the mornings or just grab a spoonful and eat it like peanut butter. I wish it didn't have 20g of Sugar in it, but I don't eat 2 tablespoons at a time which is the serving. I only wish I had graham crackers and marshmallows so I could attempt a smore. Yummy!!

Less "nutty" flavor than competitors
The first time I tried chocolate hazelnut spread, my first thought was that it needed more chocolate so it wasn't until I tried Jif's Chocolate Hazelnut spread that I finally understood the obsession with this flavor combination! They got it spot on with a stronger chocolate flavor and less nutty flavor than their competitors. But, having said that, it appeals to me more as a dessert (than, say, a breakfast topping for toast...) so my favorite way to eat it is with graham crackers or chocolate animal crackers or melted ontop of freshly popped popcorn or vanilla ice cream. Yep wonderful product!

We like it a lot.
My 14 year old son loves it on waffles and as a cupcake frosting. Both the kids like to just get a spoonfull and lick it like a lollipop. And it comes in a glass jar! Which is really nice. So save the jars and use them for buttons or whatever.
