Very comfortable and they sound great
They are not easy to install (they are stiff). Maybe heat them a bit before installing them to expand the leather that needs to be inserted around each can. They are very comfortable (way better than the original ones) and sounds great. You can't go wrong with these. Also, I wear glasses and they do not put any pressure on your temple like the original ones did.

Extremely comfortable..
This is the second set of replacement ear pads for my ATH-M50s and these seem to be more comfortable. Much easier to get on than my old ones ( didn’t need the spudger tool they supplied). Can’t hear any particular differences in tone or overall sound quality., so def happy with these.

My new favourite earpads
These are my new go-to earpads for my headphones. I have them installed on my Steelseries Arctis 1 and they are fantastic. After trying a few different types of earpads I settled on these micro suede pads as they hit the sweet spot between comfort, heat and isolation.

Feel amazing, but be prepared for slightly different sound
I'm going to give them a 5, even though others have cited sound issues that were solved by including a 'damping layer' of foam or similar that was supposed a part of the original headphones. My AudioTechnicas did not have this underlayer included when I took the original cups off (I got them preowned,) and so I had nothing to include between the drivers and the new cups to prevent this audio shift.Yes, they are further from your ear by about 1/4 of an inch, which will slightly alter the sound. I didn't find it was that bad. I still love the sound, but the highs are sharper and more dominant than before. I adjusted my equalizer a bit to give the other 2/3rds of the spectrum a little boost. They are exceedingly comfortable though, like dang. I wear glasses and have larger gauges in my ears which can get tender when I wear headphones squishing them for long periods of time. This memory foam is so soft and comfy and I doubt they'll cause sweating in the summer. Anyone with sensitive skin behind their ears can also rejoice because these have a larger inner gap than the AT pleather pads and should entirely encompass a small to medium ear so that squash friction of your headphones mashing your ears against your skull should be alleviated some.Regarding putting them on? You might want to gently warm and stretch the layer that slides into the phones before trying to get them on. I gradually widened with just hand warmth and slight pressure and didn't even need to use the tool in the end.
