VESSELBALL GRIP Screwdriver 4PC. Set No.2204CS

This my second set of these Vessel screw drivers. My first set is in my outbuilding garage ...for working on cars and trucks and things that go. I found, when wearing my "Home Handyman Hat", I was having to "raid" my set of screw drivers from the garage to use when handling projects around the home. So I decided to score a second set.The ergos on these screw drivers is fantastic. These screw drivers have a natural fit in your hand. You not only get a good grip with the ball-type handles but you can also impart some good pressure when driving screws. The tips on all the drivers are, apparently, made of some hardened steel; time will tell how they last ...especially the Phillips drivers (no, they are not JIS drivers ...Vessel does carry JIS drivers as well).These are Japanese-made tools, made in Japan, and are of the high quality and construction you used to find in tools made here in the USA ...but those days are long gone. What puts these Vessel screw drivers (and their whole line of tools) over the top is both the quality and the reasonable prices. I have been looking long for quality hand tools ...heck, *any* hand tools ...that are *not* made in China. The Vessel line of tools has filled that bill; these are excellent tools.

I bought these after reading reviews about screwdrivers, and I'm glad I did. They feel good in my hand and the ball on them really lets you put some torque on screws. So far I haven't stripped any screws using these. Im just a little concerned about cleaning them when I get them greasy, they look like they might like to hold on to grease, but I'll find out soon enough

I was issued a few of these at an old job I had and liked them so much I bought a set for myself.The ball grip handle design allows you to grip hard and push down while you turn fasteners for excellent torque. The grips have a good amount of weight to them too allowing you to flip them around in the hand very easily. The detents on the ball end also prevent them from rolling around.The business ends positively grip the fasteners very well and the magnetization is great. You can stick a screw on there, shake it around, and it won't fall out.Hard to beat for the price. Everyone I let use them loves them.

You have to get use to using a ball grip but once you do you won't go back to your old one.

Vessel makes excellent screwdrivers, and I now own two of these sets. The grip of the handles is outstanding. However, prospective buyers should know that the drivers with blue handles in this particular bundle are PH 1 and PH 2 (Philips 1 and 2). Vessel does make JIS screwdrivers, the sizes of which are designated with P rather than PH, but this set does not include them, regardless of what Amazon may claim. It seems that there is not a wide selection of JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) screwdrivers on Amazon. I have ordered a set of three sold under the Sunflag label, also reportedly made in Japan, and am hoping that they are somewhere near the quality of Vessel tools.

As a general contractor i can say, this screwdrivers is exactly what you want to get! Super comfortable handle, excellent ergonomic design. And very nice built. On a handle says- made in japan

I accidently discovered these Ball Grip drivers when I was searching for a JIS screwdriver. Most of my tools are Snap-On, and Wiha - All very nice tools. The Ball Grips blow them away. Enough, that I purchased this set to replace my set of Snap-on drivers. The cross-point drivers (like Philips) fit JIS, DIN and Philips - so you can use it to replace regular philips drivers.They also make impact drivers, and I ordered a set. Those drivers do not have a very good handle, so they in no way are as good as the ball grip drivers. So order a set of ball grip drivers, and only get the individual impact drivers.
