Welding INC 7000-GW-1 gate Wheel

I had to replace a broken caster type wheel on my 20’ long gate. This one is superior and can handle the weight much better than the caster.

This product was easy to install and received in a timely manner. The quality of this product is questionable as the metal is quite thin and the rim and area around the shaft is not very thick. I anticipate that the rim and shaft area will not stand up to the weight and repeated openings of a drive gate. Although adequate for a small, light gate.

This was a very good and easy to install item.

The tire is hard and durable. If you have tube gates and a fairly level surface, it will work well. It's very low to the ground, so if your ground is uneven or slopes, you might want one with a longer fixture.

I have a 12' cattle gate at the entrance to my property. I got tired of dragging the gate across the driveway and finally ordered this gate wheel. Where it used to take two hands and plenty of muscle to open my gate, I can now open it with one hand and a simple push rolls it back wide enough for me to drive through. This thing is the best thing since sliced bread! I love it! My 6 year old granddaughter can open the gate by herself now. My friends no longer complain about my gate. It's awesome!UPDATE: I've had the wheel several months now and it is very durable and held up well to continued use. I'm still loving it!

Can't beat this price! I use my gate every day and it is anchored at the other end by 2 heavy duty hinges. This wheel is run over concrete for my 12 foot gate and supports roughly 75 pounds.This is the third wheel I've had for this gate over the past 2 years. I hope this one holds up. The others both failed by separating the wheel from the pressed in bearing and they wobbled terribly after that.Construction quality seems pretty sturdy.

Works for our long farm gate and makes it much easier to open. We had to rig it a bit, since our gate is constructed differently than the gate style this is intended for. (But that's our problem, not the manufacturer's.) Seems like it will last a long time.

This is really nice, very well made, not cheap junk. Just have to make sure that the bottom of the gate, on the side of the gate at the hinge is set correctly, in other words, you don't want the gate hinge set too high. The bottom of the gate should be level at about 3 inches or so from the ground, this way the wheel can support the unhinged end of the gate evenly. Rolls real nice and easily even across my gravel driveway. Good luck.
