I’ve been using these light stands for several years, and they’ve been very reliable. They’ve helped me a lot during shoots. One of the biggest advantages is that they are lightweight and easy to use for indoor photography. For outdoor use, they work well for mounting a flash. If you plan to use them with a softbox, additional weights are needed for stability. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase — they are definitely worth the price.

These are very light-duty stands. They do reach up to a decent 7 feet; but as far as using for lighting? That's questionable. Possibly with smaller LEDs, very small light and lighboxes. But don't think that these will handle a larger light with a large softbox. So, I'm going to just take off one star since for what you pay, they are decent light-duty stands. But don't be fooled - there's no way you're going to put a 48" octo-box on this with a professional light. The mount just isn't the right size and it's simply just too heavy. But again, you have to take that against what you're paying. Stands that can hold that large of a light cost 10x as much. So, you can see in the image - these are perfect for the small LED lights I have. For the large softbox, you are going to need to spend a LOT more.

Very easy to use, and they work great. 7ft is perfect for my current use cases. The bags they come with are very convenient, and the 1/4" mount on top means a lot of stuff can go on top. I mainly use them to hold smaller portable lights. Just got my second pair and I've been using these and the ones I got about a year ago regularly.

Exactly what I needed for a last second film shoot. Having misplaced a few light stands recently I needed 2 replacements to fill out my equipment. These light stands were cheap, effective and arrived quickly. the 1/4 screw head meant to I was able to attach both LED lights or a diffuser to the stand depending on what the set up required. I used these only as background or 2nd tier equipment so the demand wasn't too much. As long as they could keep a light firmly attached and off the floor I was satisfied. I will be keeping these in my lighting kit for now as they're handy and reliable.

At the price I was dubious but as the tripods will be used for holding relatively light lamps I thought I couldn't go too far wrong. I was surprised when they came in a seperate, quality, bag each. I was even more surprised when I took them out, fitted a light then erected them. Very stable, heavy duty for the price and actually taller than the maker claims. I am very pleased and getting two for a low price is excellent. I cannot recommend these tripods enough. Buy them.

Made of very thin metal, and extremely wobbly. Would NOT use for anything heavier than an umbrella or speedlight, whatever they say it can handle. And forget about outdoors, this will blow down. No anchor point for sand bag (it wouldnt handle the weight of it either) and no rubber/sharp feet for stability. What make it a not one star product is that you get two of them, and they are easy to store.
