Eh
My son thinks the texture is too spongy.

Not as advertised
These are standard textured vegetable protein pieces that you could call "cutlets" after cooking in broth (not supplied) and serving with appropriate vegetables and other side dishes (not supplied). In other words, the advertising is ambiguous. Also, this is imported from Spain, where, I am sure they know how to make textured vegetable protein pieces, but there are US companies that make tvp that is at least as good. Finally, the storefront does not mention its status as an import-export company, and obviously does business under a number of unnecessary aliases, prompting me to point this out. There are other brands of tvp around, made in the USA. There is no reason to prefer this brand over a US-made brand except for price. Make sure you shop around first.

Two stars
Not the same as it used to be. I had reordered this product because the first one or two times, the cutlets were a nice "cutlet" size, but the last few times they were far from being adequate size. I don't think I will be purchasing the Elianni Cutlets again.

Really good - very versatile
These are really easy to use and keep handy.Since they're dehydrated, you keep them in your pantry and use any amount you need. They rehydrate in just five minutes in vegetable broth. At that point they can be used in just about any recipe that calls for meat in chunks or strips. Some of the pieces are large - so even if the recipe wants chunks not strips, I think there is always some cutting to do.There is a recipe on the box to get you started. That recipe makes A LOT. Unless you are feeding at least 4 to 5 people, you may want to half it.I will definitely keep a few boxes of veggie cutlets around.

Not Good
When placed in water, it does not double in size. This leads me to believe that it's not dehydrated: It's burnt pieces. There is not seven servings. I believe it's actually three and a half servings (I counted pieces that were at least a half inch). I wonder what other lies are on the packaging. The flavor is not good at all. I have thrown them away, and I normally do not throw food away unless it's really bad.Try the All soy textured protein chunks. It does expand in liquid, as a dehydrated product should: And the taste is the same as your liquid or sauce.

Good size pieces and good flavor
Good portion size and good taste. They are rather spongy after rehydrating so I suggest a meal where you saute or cook over a skillit to make it more crispy. Marinate in chickenless broth and season and it tastes pretty darn good. My non vegetarian husband enjoyed it.

The order never materialized. The company never responded , so I was never charged.

Five Stars
I used soy sauce or spaguetti sauce with shirataki noodles and walah. A meal without being a meal.
