It’s mow flows smooth and easy and it has a different texture than regular caulking or silicone. Make sure you have everything clean and dry and the grease that you’re going to use it and plan on using the entire tube because once you open it it has a shelf life just like silicone caulking but maybe not as long. Are use mine over the course of a week.

Did exactly what I needed it to do on my 30 year old car. Seal up all the older and cracking seams.

I purchased this as an automotive sealer for an older car with rain gutters. and as a sealer it is amazingly effective. Once it has adhered and dried it is next to impossible to remove. But if you have wide gaps that will show and be painted it is extremely difficult to smooth and any smoothing you do has to be done in the first minute after application. So if cosmetics are important on your project I would advise you to look elsewhere
