One of the best purchases I've ever made
I've been developing a healthy cookie recipe for over three months now, and this flour completed the search. It absorbs a lot of moisture, but the cookie cake turned out perfectly dense and moist. This recipe is free of gluten, dairy, soy, nuts, grains, and refined sugar. Pretty sure it's also low FODMAP and low histamine, and should be keto friendly (at the right serving size). Here's the recipe for anyone who's interested:1/2 cup pumpkin flour1/2 cup hemp seed flour1/2 cup freshly ground brown flaxseed meal1/4 cup date sugar2 tsp psyllium husk1/2 tsp non iodized table salt1/2 tsp baking soda1/3 cup date sugar chocolate chips1/4 cup maple syrup1/4 cup fresh blueberry juice2 tbs alcohol-free vanilla1 eggMix dry ingredients (minus chocolate chips) in medium bowl and wet ingredients in large bowlAdd dry ingredients to wet in thirdsFold in chocolate chipsSpread into greased cookie pan (mine is maybe 8"x4"?)Bake at 350F for 10 minutes (time will vary based on size of baking pan)

Easy on the stomach and a good price
I've been looking into pumpkin protein since last year but couldn't find anything that was cost effective and easily available until now that I really dug into it deeper. The Food to Live pricing is the best for the amount you get. The serving size is a little over 2 heaping tablespoons for 30g; I measured it with my kitchen scale. With the 2lbs bag, I get a 30 day supply if I do a serving once a day, which comparing to other big tubs of protein powders that are only 15-20 days for $30-40, is really good. The certification is also impressive. It's organic and non-GMO. Non-GMO is actually harder to obtain than organic certification. Organic can still get away with having GMO contamination in the manufacturing process. I work in a health food store and we are informed on these topics; I just wanted some pumpkin protein but I also wanted to give props to the company for their certification.I was recently diagnosed with IBS and found that typical plant based proteins do bloat me. They are oversaturated with ingredients for someone with gut issues. I have not had any issues at all with this pumpkin protein. The taste is mild to me and I don't add anything to it. I actually really like pumpkin in general! As far as mixing, keep in mind this has no gums or anything in it to help it mix. I have a shaker bottle and it ended up with clumps. I had to use a mini blender. This wasn't an issue to me personally. This will be my go-to protein from now on and I'm definitely ordering a bigger bag next time. Even without a Prime option for their bigger sizes, you are still getting the best deal on pumpkin protein on Amazon and possibly online as of the time of writing this review.

My hubby's low-carb, keto flour & my Italian Cracker recipe ;)
Bought this for my husband who has been doing a low-carb keto diet ... amazingly this pumpkin seed flour has zero carbs (when u subtract the fiber)!! So we have used this to make crackers, pizza crusts, and biscuits!! Planning to make some bread also.. He loves it and can eat and not feel like he's missing out .. I will share our cracker recipe for anyone who wants to try it. We've also used other low carb flour (like almond and peanut) but now that we've found this one which is no carbs he prefers it.. I left off a star because of the cost- wish it was a little lower..My Italian cracker recipe:1/2 cup pumpkin seed flour1 tbsp Italian seasoning1 tsp garlic powder1/2 tsp onion powder1 tsp oregano seasoning1/4 tsp sea salt or to desired taste2 tbsp olive oil2 'chia eggs'*Directions:Preheat oven to 350'.. Mix all dry ingredients thoroughly... I use a fork to make sure its pressed and mixed well.. then add olive oil and mix thoroughly until it looks crumbly. Next add the 'chia egg' mixing well.. it maybe slightly wet & sticky but that's ok. Put the doughty ball on parchment paper and add another sheet of parchment paper on top.. press down and then roll it out to your desired cracker thickness. Then cut into squares and possibly sprinkle a touch more sea salt if you like more salt. Bake 15-20 minutes or until crispy.. oven temps vary so check around 15 minutes to make sure not burning. Enjoy!! ;)*chia egg- Mix 1 tbsp of ground chia seeds with 3 tablespoons of water. Since this recipe calls for 2 chia eggs u would mix 2 tbsp of ground chia seeds with 6 tbsp of water.**also on a side note I've read online that pumpkin seeds are known to remove intestinal worms ...

Watch your measurements
Taste great. Adds a bit of sweetness and a hint of pumpkin flavor. However, adding it to my green tea latte in place of Flax seed powder quickly put on 5 lbs. Now I only add a small amount to my KETO pumpkin bread to give it a better 'bread' consistency.

It’s delicious!
I love the taste, price, and nutrition! I had digestive issues with it at one point but I think that was because I was eating too much protein from other sources then.

Tastes great
It works well as an almond flour substitute in keto recipes. Low carbs and higher protein. I made keto pancakes, and trout coating and looking forward to figuring out a keto bread recipe.

Good, but made in China
Really good product except it was made/from China and so it is very hard to tell if this has any aditional nasty chemicals in it. I hope not.
