Replacement for Hamilton Beach Blender Jar Base Bottom Screw Cap and O Ring

The plastic shaft on my blade split on my blender but the rest of the unit was fine. I ordered this as a replacement. I could not use the bottom piece as it did not fit the base but the gaskets and the blade fit my original base and the blender works beautifully. The funny thing is I never had two rubber gaskets and wasn't sure if it was an extra until I saw the video. Nothing leaks, the blade works well. The first thing I made was vanilla paste which requires the blender to chop them into a fine powdery consistency. It is actually recommended that a "high speed" i.e really expensive blender be used. My little Hamilton Beach did yoeman's work and the vanilla paste came out great.

Perfect replacement for an old blender

Unfortunately, this is absolute junk and does not chop fruit vegetables or ice. I have purchased the blade replacement part from another company in 2020 and then again in 2023. Those blades, chopped the ice and everything and gave me a really nice thick smoothie. I don’t know why I bought this brand this time but boy WhatsApp a mistake. I could put four strawberries in the blender with some water and these blades don’t even cut through the strawberries. And after I’m blending with the fruits and ice, I have to take a spoon and pull out the ice cubes that are left that didn’t get chopped.! I use the same speed for blender is over 30 years old works like a champ, but these blades leave a lot to be desired. Check other companies on Amazon. This one is less than subpar. My prior to blades were from “the blendin store”. I will be buying from them today. What a waste!
