Gets the job done
my mom asked me for speakers and i found these. She is happy with them.. They get the job done.

Loud 60Hz hum... and that's it. Previous unit worked fine for yeats.
I gave away my several year old set of these speakers, and ordered these as a replacement. Plugged it in to AC, and they immediately emitted a loud 60Hz buzz, Everything is plugged into a single shielded power strip, so I'm guessing it's transformer noise from the speaker. Packed it up, dropped it off at the UPS store, and Amazon credited me within a few hours. I suspect this one slipped through QA at the factory.

Excellent sound but does have issues with the volume control.
I have had two pair of these speakers at work. The first one the volume control (on/off switch) eventually shorted out inside. The second pair has been great. The pair I bought for home has a switch which is very hard to turn. That would be on the only negative I give these speakers. The sound quality if very good and they can go very loud without distorting.

Great for the price
When you need an inexpensive set of speakers, these are a reliable go-to. This is my third set of Logitech speaks over the past...20 years, maybe. Anytime I just need a pair of speakers that doesn't sound like static or echo like a tin can, I know I can count on this set. I bought this pair because a family member had a cheap set that was hurting my ears, and oh the sweet relief of switching to these! Again, they are still a cheaper pair of speakers, don't expect cinema quality here. That being said, they do a great job for their price point.

Speaker cords were too short to reach outlet. Device needs to be stationary and within 2 feet of power source

they work good far about three weeks the sound got so low you can barley them. i am about feed up with order anything on line. going to tell my kids no more amazon or any card that required on line purchase.

Don't be fooled by the name, it's junk
I know, this is a cheap one but it excels at being "cheap". I thought that the name would give it a little credibility, but it isn't worth the cheap price. It works sometimes, and other times, who knows what is wrong. I deposited this one in the garbage.
