Skagen Women's 816XSBXC1 Ceramic Black Ceramic Watch

This watch is definitely nice. But it is a shiny black which the stock photo does not make apparent. And because it is shiny, it looks more graphite than black, IMHO. Nevertheless I will keep the watch because it is a rather nice watch. The case is small but I have a small wrist so it actually looks alright on me. The ceramic is rather soft and brittle though. I took the watch to a jeweler for them to resize and they are the ones that told me the watch was "fragile" in their opinion. I don't have any other ceramic watches so I have no basis of comparison.

I got this watch as a gift because it resembled a lot to Rado True Jubile that I saw previously in a dealer. Compared to Rado, the ceramic quality is different; precisely, it is less shiny and lighter. The case diameter is also smaller than Rado, which is interesting because I thought Rado's case is actually small. So, this one's case is even smaller. Overall, not a bad watch for the price if you like/need the smaller size.

I really like my new Skagen watch I received about a week ago. The face is small, but having a small wrist it looks really nice and it is comfortable! The one downside is the watch is a bit heavy considering it's ceramic. I also have a Rado ceramic watch which is considerably lighter. I chose this Skagen because I needed an everyday watch and wanted something close to my Rado without the expense.

This watch is very sleek and elegant. I really love the look of it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it more petite than I pictured it to be. It is skinnier and the face is smaller than the other Skagens I have. Other than that it's a great watch and Amazon has great prices on them.

The watch is gorgeous. It was smaller then I thought but it's perfect for a woman. The ceramic construction and face makes it look classy but the color gives it a modern glance. The watch feels light but it's a solid build. When I gave it to her as a gift, her face lit up. She loves it and wears it almost everyday.

I bought this watch online for a great price after seeing it in a department store for $195. It is a beautiful watch- the picture does not do it justice. I bought because it is so small- I have a 6 inch wrist and other watches look ridiculously large- this one is perfectly proportioned for me. One word of caution- you will have to take to a jeweler and pay a little bit to have it sized- the pins are way too small to do it yourself (at least they were for me).

I do love Skagen watches. The only thing that stops me from rating this watch a four is because it really has a small face and I wasnt expecting it to be so small. It really is smaller than a standard watch and though I wear it it is hard to tell time because it is so small. it is elegant however but more for a very thin wrist or a teenager.

This watch is even prettier than the photos suggest. It's slender, which is nice for those of us with dainty wrists. It needed a few links removed, but then fit perfectly. The catch-release mechanism is clever and one of the best I've seen.

Lovely watch but the strap requires specialist treatment to shorten. It is supplied for a very large wrist. The links snap very easily when being removed/replaced. My wife's watch had to be sent back to Fossil (who own Skagen) for adjustment in France! I did this through Debenhams without a problem, but this can take 3-4 weeks.

I'm a Skagen fan mainly for the slim design having lost my watch I saw this amazing bargin. It has got a long strap and it did cost me £20 to have altered but still a bargin.Only thing I'd say is make sure they link taken out don't position the clasp to one side, I am having to go back to jeweler to get the links evened up. Jeweler mistake.

Nice watch. I have to agree with other reviews though, the strap is huge on such a small watch but I managed to get links taken out by a local jeweller no problem. The face of the watch is pretty but much smaller that I thought it was going to be (guess I should have paid more attention to the spec). Not bad for £50 but I'm glad I didn't pay more for it.

I absolutely love this watch! Looks really classy. However I'm not a small lady but the strap is huge. I paid a jeweller to shorten it for me as the shortening instructions emphasised how careful to be with the pins and I was worried that it would be damaged. Lovely watch - strap way too big

Although the bracelet is a little big, I would prefer too big than not big enough. The watch size was exactly what I was looking for and it is very pretty, dainty watch. My Mum has already asked me for one for her birthday. Definitely recommend but read the listings to make sure dimensions are what you want as they are accurate.
