This little 4-sided, multi-use buffer is long lasting and is also good for removing dead skin from the soles of your feet, great nail file and buffer too.

All of these surfaces together are the perfect tools to keep classical guitarists nails shaped and smooth, like they should be. For a right-handed player, nails must be short on the left hand, with no rough spots or snags, and long (but not too long!) on the right hand, and also smooth with nothing that will "catch" the string. Without this variety of surfaces, this would be impossible. Knock-off brands wear out quickly and don't have the surface nuance of the Revlon files. Go to any practice of a guitar ensemble, or a private lesson, the guitarists are studiously touching up their nails with the Revlon file prior to beginning. Extremely generous people will share theirs with some unfortunate soul who has forgotten theirs. That's why most guitarists have a couple at home, one in their music backpack or tote bag, and another in the car--just in case. It's a shame they can no longer be purchased at stores locally (at least where I live); they have to be ordered on amazon.com.

They get the job done, although I'm not sure how long they will last.

So happy to find on Amazon. Have used for years. 6 different filing/smoothing options. If I prefer not to wear nail polish i buff a nice smooth shine. Side benefit: if buffed on all 4 levels progressively and vigorously seems to fuse layers of my nail reducing peeling and ridges. If wearing nail polish over buffed nail it smooths the look of my polish. Also the roughest option (black) is good for toenails.

I have been looking for these revlon nail file for months! I won't waste my money any more. These are firm, last for a very long time. I have had my last Revlon file for over a year. I had to buy 2 because my husband discovered where I was hiding them!!! They were still so strong he could file his nails down. That is over a year old and used almost daily by me!! I don't like the steel kind. You won't hurt anything with this nail file. It is really firm at the very first but they wear down some and keep working perfectly.

These are my favorite nail tool for filing and smoothing my nails, these are hard to find in stores sometimes so getting them here on Amazon was great. I guess I didn't read the description properly as you get two in a package, I though they were singles and bought 3 but I actually got 6, but that's ok, I will definitely use them all eventually.

Excellent quality nail buffer. Easy to hold and handle. Several different options for amount of buffering required. Would not be without it. Totally recommend!

Beware, picture makes it look as though this is for two, actually only one which makes it pretty expensive, particularly when you add the postage. The nail file is brilliant but not worth that much !
