typical zebralight AWESOMENESS
excellent quality product. runs on a single cr123r primary or similar sized battery. it has the ability to put out some serious lumens, but it really shines (sigh, yeah I just did) in its lower output/longer runtime modes. simple rubber bracket holds whatever angle you set, even through a bike ride. I have not tried to run with it, but I suspect similar results. all in all, if you have to pick one headlamp and you are a fan of lithium batteries, or even the LiFePo4 rechargeables, this is your light.update 9/18/17: still going strong. due to a seemingly incurable addiction, I also have an armytek tiara c1 headlamp to compare to the zlight, and the h32 is still the winner. easier UI, a battery check function that does not have to be removed from your head to utilize, and smaller/lighter overall.

Zebralight makes some of the best flashlights in the world.
I own several Zebralights and every one of them has been simply outstanding. Build quality is top notch, and I just love the UI (how they function). This headlamp is very powerful for its size (tops in its class actually), and the different levels are all customizable. This lamp has the standard reflector (bright center with spill) and is ideal for nighttime activities. I also have the Floody version which I use for close up work. I also keep their single AA model on my desk, and own several of the Zebralight SC600 (18650 battery) versions, including the powerful new 1000 lumen Mk III.I could not be happier. J&H

Awesome little light
I knew this thing was going to be small, but it is smaller and lighter than I expected. I have another CR123 light that seems heavy in comparison. Nice, strong light in a really lightweight package.

Poor quality
Bought this headlamp as I had heard good things about quality and customer service. Emailed customer service about an issue I was having with the light flickering on and off. Received a call almost immediately the representative told me to try Panasonic batteries. So I purchased Panasonic batteries and installed them. Headlamp gets hot after its been used for a bit. Same problem, by now I was out of my 30 day amazon return policy. Emailed Zebra Light, they asked me to ship back and that they would fix the headlamp w/I 8 weeks. Expected better quality from a $70 head lamp, and after receiving a lemon I would expect that they would pay for me to ship it back and send me out a new one immediately. Back to Petzl as I've never had a problem with any of the flashlights purchased from them.
