Injen Technology RD1940P Polished Race Division Cold Air Intake System

I was totally surprised at the improvement. I had been debating whether to put a cold air intake on my Infiniti I35. I wasn’t sure which to get. There’s so many out there. I did some research on Injen and was impressed with company and their products. So I bought it and had my Nissan/Infiniti techs install it.I had heard all the pros and cons about cold air intakes, but the first rule in performance is…Air in… Air out! This well made, well engineered device claims to add 28 hp and I believe it.I got increased power throughout the entire rpm range. I can’t wait to see if the increased gas mileage claims are true as well. I am very, very satisfied with this purchase.

Quick install with relative ease. i had a slight customization I had to zip tie the down pipe away from the tranny linkage cable connector as it was interfering with gear shift, but that's what happens with aftermarket parts. No biggie.CAI added 4000whp to my car and the Injen sticker added another 1000whp. I'm just kidding!!! Overall, CAI on its own is not going to give significant gains at all. However, if you are fully bolting on then it does contribute.If you live in a seasonal part of the country, then you will enjoy your CAI in the colder winter months. That's when you can tell a difference since you are really getting colder denser air. Have fun!

Love this CAI! makes my car sound better and can definitely feel a difference in power.Only thing I didnt like is how far down the filter goes... sits next to the transmission. Will probably move it around in the future when I have spare time

So far im loving this item works really great with a car that has a good exhaust on it works better with a car that have a aftermarket exhaust makes the engine bay look great a little difficult to put on if you dont read directions but all items helped out alot....great sound around 5-7000 rpm thats when power kick in i dont believe you get 28+hp out of this item but you will tell the difference in hp gain dont believe its helping save gas seem like it helps burn gas a little more but im still doing test

Instructions were easy to fallow and once the old intake system is removed, it is very accessible and easy to install. Im not sure that it makes a noticable difference in power, or even gas mileage, as I have not installed any type of performance fuel injectors yet. The intake is as described and was delivered in a timely fashion. It was also packaged well and didnt have any scratches. All parts were intact and fit as expected. Looks great too!

This was a great buy in my book, it is actually my first of many mods and I was delighted as to find how easy it was to install myself it took me a good hour and a half. Only because the long hose with the filter attachment is kind of tricky, trying to find a good opening. But after 1 day of it being installed and broken in it has a nice grumble sound when you press on the gas. 5th gen nissan maxima owner.

The direction was little confusing.

Can be a little tricky to install if not mechanicality inclined but when installed it will increase torque and HP at midrange RPM well. Nice upgrade and looks nice!
