BerkleyGulp! Grub Saltwater Fishing Soft Bait

We all know fisherman are no stranger to tall tales but so far this one is living up.I get more interest and lots of tails being bitten off on these nuclear Chicken Gulps than any other color. Also great thing with Gulps is you recharge them back in the liquid and they are good as new.

Any bottom feeders gulp these dow. Well, really not gulp and the one problem is smaller fish bite the tails off. Makes the bait useless without the tail. If there were some sort of reinforcement in the tail, would be perfect

Great product, flounder killers

These are great for west coast calico and sand bass. They’re also good for west coast rock cod fishing and reservoir striped bass. Only comment is that softness or toughness varies from color to color with same style grubs. This issue is not really an issue with me because sometimes a tougher grub behooves me, won’t tear up easily when fish are hitting wide open, and I don’t want to replace grub after catching a couple of fish. Other times when fish are hitting slowly and are finicky, a softer bait might be what’s needed to entice them to bite. Irrespective, I’d recommend these highly.

Seems like anything would work for rockfishing though, but I use these and they stay on. I hook some squid on with the grub, if the squid is gone they still bite sometimes. Works for lings and misc rockfish

I have used these in the past for rock fish bottom fishing. These are the cat's meow for ling cod.I was nearing my limit of black sea bass on the charter boat rig and then switched to this. Caught four ling cod after that. Including a double of a black sea base and a ling cod. The deck hand was giving me a bad time about using the Nuclear Chicken until I started dragging in the ling cod. Also caught a nice cabezon the day before using one of these. Had to throw him back because it was before July 1st. Not sure what difference that makes other than it's state law.

Used these on the oregon coast and caught lingcod and rockfish with them. I was able to catch multiple fish with each bait. They are soft enough to entice the fish but hard enough that they can withstand the sharp teeth.

This is a great bait. You don't loose them every time a fish bites. Although they seam to be making them a little different than the past. The tales seem to be a little softer and break off easier.

Awesome baits!!! Smell terrible nbut the fish love it. Rockfish and Lingcod destroy them!! Pair them up with a 1-4oz Bucktail jig and it's fish on!!Just wish they came with 6 in a pack instead of 4

Lingcod and rockfish are crazy about these grub. Guaranteed to catch fish everytime.
