LEGO Star Wars Republic Gunship

I built this set yesterday and I love it. It was the biggest set I had ever made, so I had my expectations really high. It had a brick price of under 10 cents per piece when I bought it, so I didn't get ripped off. It took me just under four hours to build, and it was relatively easy, it just took a while. I like how it kept reinforcing, so you can play with it without fearing that it will crumble. The minifigures are great: there is a special edition clone trooper captain, which is red instead of blue; a Geonosis Padme with a clawed shirt; a padawan Anakin with a green lightsaber and padawan braid; a clone pilot with a modified torso; an Obi-Wan with a blue lightsaber; and finally two super battle droids. I would have switched Obi-Wan for another clone to make it look a little more realistic; and I would rather have it be like the gunships on Umbara, with an AT-RT able to be deployed from the back instead of a swoop bike, but I don't want it to be like the ones in the Clone Wars, as the ball cannons are cool. The only con I can find is that the carrying handle is tiny, and I don't like the idea of carrying a four pound ship with about an inch of plastic as the handle. Overall it is an amazing set and I recommend it to anyone with some free time and some good experience building.

My son (8 yrs old) received this set for Christmas and it was worth the $ for us. It took him longer than an afternoon to build (this is a bonus! Most sets get built too quickly) and after it was built he was going to put it up on his shelf, but instead has enjoyed playing with it a great deal. It also has enough sturdiness to it that pcs don't fall off easily when he plays with it. My son adds: I love it because it has secretive places and a handle to pick it up with. It was harder to build but really fun to build.

I have a grandson who is nuts about Legos. He's so good at building them, I have to get him Legos for a 12 year old when he is only 8 years old. The Lego Star Wars Republic Gunship arrived in a couple of days and when I went to visit him the next day, it was already completed. Lego construction toys are fabulous because children spend time using their intelligence to build amazing objects they can be proud of and admire for a long time. The best thing about buying Legos on Amazon is that you can easily see what you are buying and they appear magically at your door in just a few days. Legos are a worthwhile investment in teaching kids the joy of building things. A future architect is out there waiting for one!

What a fun build! Excellent for kids and adults! Not time consuming but it takes enough time to build to enjoy it and get your money's worth This set is huge! I love it! This set does have a lot of pieces and two seperate instruction booklets (make sure to pay attention!! you can forget pieces if you dont). However! There is a catch (and an excellent move on Lego). They have you build the set in modules (i.e. building the cockpit and then switching to say building the bottom portion for example) It makes for excellent starting and stopping points and also for team/family/or sibling builds. The bags are numbered for ease as well. The set also comes with multiple figures. The set seemed to be durable for kids play. Throughout the build you were reinforcing what you were building. I'm sure however if you drop it just right you could snap off the wings. There are many moving parts and little cubbies and hidey holes to arouse the imagination of children and those young at heart. There is even a carrying handle that you build into the ship!! There are "missiles" that can be "launched" so that could be cause for concern for tiny injury or being sucked up by the vacuum. Well worth the money!

I got this set for Christmas and I think it rules! All the mini-figs have very detailed printing and the ship is VERY durable. The seats in the wing turrets and cockpits have no studs so you don't have to worry about the figures bottoms popping off when you pull them out. One thing I like is that there is a compartment to put the figures weapons in when they are in the cockpits. There is a speeder that comes out of a folding door in the back of the ship. This is a huge ship. The two things that I have made improvements on are the doors and the floor in the cargo bay. As seen in the Clone Wars, there are two doors that seal together so the ship can travel through space. This ship is modeled after the one seen in the movie, "Attack Of The Clones" so there is only the back door. I added the first door and an escape pod. The floor in the cargo bay is made with tiles that are smooth in some places so figures can't stand on them. I took the floor out and added studded plates so mini-figs could stand anywhere they want. As not to end on a negative note, I will say again that this set in MOST DEFINATELY worth your money.

This is definitely one of the best sets I have purchased, although I personally would wait until some of the off seasons to buy it, mainly because i was able to get my set for around 91.00$ instead of the 135.00 they are asking for at the time I'm writing this review. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because I do own the gunship that came out before this and the doors on the original one actually close all the way, while these ones do not. Other than that, it's still a wonderful set, just watch out for the prices, mainly because during holidays amazon decides to increase the prices on almost everything by 15-20%.

LEGO Star Wars 75021: Republic Gunship is AWESOME. I got it for a really good price and was a really good fun build, great minifigures. I'm a fan of the clones so was nice to get a commander and a pilot. the ship itself is very sturdy. If i was a kid i would go crazy on this. Although i still did even being a young adult :P Took a good while to build as its over 1'000. quite large but at the same time looks very accurate to the scale of the minfiguers. the doors have a really nice sliding mechanism and also you can even fit a speeder in the back which is a nice touch. To my surprise theres loads of space to fit clones or whatever minifiguers you wanna put in there. Overall Very Very good set

気付いたときには前バージョンがプレミア価格になってしまっていたので、新たにガンシップが出るとあって発売前から心躍らせていました！ 久々の大物レゴでしたが、小袋がナンバリングされていて作りやすく、途中途中で小出しに登場するフィグの入り方に感心してしまいました。 出来上がったガンシップは壮観！ もう一機欲しい！とすら思ったほどですが、かなりの大物なので一機だけでもスペースが…と断念しました。 本パッケージに何ら不満はなく大変満足していますが、敢えて個人的にわがままを言わせてもらえれば ・クローントルーパーがもっと欲しい ・アナキンら主要キャラの顔をEP2版だけでなく、クローンウォーズ（アニメ）版のものも別で付けてほしい といったところでしょうか。

Der geheime Star von "Star Wars Episode 2 - Angriff der Klonkrieger" ist für mich definitiv das republikanische Kanonenboot bzw. Landungsschiff. Glücklicherweise hat sich unser Lieblings-Bauklötzchenhersteller zum wiederholten Male entschieden, dieses sensationell designte Stück Technik auch als Bausatz für die heimischen vier Wände herauszugeben. Wie von LEGO gewohnt, kommen die Teile sauber nach Bauschritten eingetütet zum Vorschein und natürlich auch gleich zum Einsatz. Als Bauzeit sollte man sich ca. 3 Stunden einplanen, bei entsprechenden "Bestaunpausen" auch gerne noch ein paar Stunden mehr ;) - die LEGO-Genießer wissen Bescheid. Wirklich schwierige Aufbauten gibt es nicht, einzig die Anbringung der Flügel könnte etwas jüngere und/oder ungeübte Baumeister etwas nach Hilfe rufen lassen. Das fertige Schiff ist ein ganz schöner Klotz und zum Glück dachten die LEGO-Konstrukteure, wie bei inzwischen so manchen der etwas gewichtigeren Sets, an einen praktischen Tragegriff, der hier zudem noch im Modell versenkbar ist, so dass er das Außendesign nicht beeinflusst. Das Landungsschiff macht so wohl für Sammler in der Vitrine eine gute Figur, als auch für diejenigen, die es natürlich zum Spielen, und damit für seinen eigentlichen Einsatzzweck, gebrauchen wollen. Stabil genug ist es allemal, so dass es auch mal einen etwas heftigeren Absturz ohne Totalschaden überleben kann - von den filigranen kleineren Kanonen am Frontbereich vielleicht einmal abgesehen, aber diese sind im Fall der Fälle wieder blitzschnell montiert. Im Set befinden sich zudem die Figuren von Obi Wan, ein jugendlicher Anakin Skywalker nebst seiner Angebeteten Padme im luftigen Outfit (wie halt in Episode 2), zwei Klonkrieger (1x Pilot, 1x Captain) und zwei schwere Kampfdroiden der Separatisten. Leider fehlt ein z.B. passender Yoda, den ich mir in diesem Zusammenhang wirklich sehr gewünsch hätte. Für einen Preis von knapp um die 100 Euro (immer durchaus etwas schwankend, manchmal sind auch zwischen 85 und 90 Euro drin, wenn man etwas Geduld hat, von Rabattaktionen mal ganz abgesehen) ist das insgesamt ein durchaus faires Angebot. Bauzeit, Spielspaß und das fertige Modell gehören zum Besten, was man von LEGO-Star-Wars geboten bekommen kann und daher sind die 5 Sterne für mich mehr als gerechtfertigt.

Jouer au Lego, ce n’est pas comme jouer aux jeux vidéo. Ça développe des qualités intellectuelles, ainsi que la curiosité. Bien sûr, elle est limitée ici par le fait qu'on reproduit un vaisseau de la franchise cinématographique Star Wars mais après tout, ça reste du Lego et à la fin, on peut en faire ce qu'on veut ! Le modèle ici présenté est bien réalisé et proportionné par rapport à l'original. Mieux réalisée aussi que sa première version mais je regrette les stickers de cette première version qui permettaient de personnaliser l'engin ! Beaucoup de personnages et une vraie jouabilité à la clé !
