Excellent delivery. I would go for the slightly larger option next time. This is still very useful for small items and a small bag.

Honestly I've become a huge fan of the Cocoon GRID-IT products. They are so useful in so many applications. It's not just something for geeks or gadget go-ers. We use ours for carrying mobile phones, cables, sunglasses, pliers and tools, pens, calculators, makeup, mascara, lipbalm, this list really is endless.The elastic is very tough and will hold anything in but it doesn't damage the things you put in there. This sunvisor shape is really useful and I actually use mine in my work bag to hold all my bits and pieces in the one place. Such a great organiser because it's all there, you don't have to open anything up or go looking for anything.Everyone who sees this asks me to have a go putting their stuff in and it's always fun to see how amazed people are by what they can bundle up in it. When I go travelling I put all my bits and pieces in it and off I go. At the airport, I whip it out in security and easy, done. No hassles, no unpacking anything. You wouldn't believe the number of security checkpoint people who've remarked about how cool it looks and where can they get it from. Hmm, mental note, maybe Cocoon owes me a commission. ;)Honestly I don't work for the company. And if I had to say anything negative it would be that their packaging is enormous. I had some products delivered to a hotel my aunt was staying at, to bring back for me, and she almost had a heart attack when she saw the box. All for 4 flat items. Ridiculous. So be aware that the box may be huge. But other than that, I love this product and am slowly but surely expending my range and my friends and family list who now own one. Perfect gift idea. Especially for those who have everything or people you don't really know. They'll think you're such a smart buyer! I like this product a lot. I was a little confused at first because all of the straps are so free-form that it wasn't clear to me how to put my widgets into the organizer. So I took another look at the ample pictures on the product page and understood much better. I can hold pretty much any of my supplies and tools in this organizer once I plan it out. That sounds like a pain, but the benefits are strong enough that I didn't mind taking a few minutes to figure it out. It's like having an organizer that's custom-designed for my specific needs.The straps have latex rubber dots on them to help secure items into place. If you have a latex allergy, then this product isn't your best option.The color of the organizer is true to the color on my computer and phone screens. It's a silvery gray, not a dirty gray.The reverse of the organizer has a zipper pouch of limited use: you can store thin items like a credit card or a folded piece of paper. While you can store items like pencils in there, the organizer loses the flatness of its back, making it less easy to slip into a laptop case or briefcase.The construction of the organizer is sturdy and doesn't seem inclined to tear or fall apart with reasonable use.

I bought two sizes of these Grid-its (5x7 and 5x10) and they are indeed clever sturdy organizers. Maybe I'm a bit dense, but I had thought they were cases. They're not and so not quite what I had wanted for travel and hence the four stars. Instead, these are flat boards with rubberized elastic bands woven across one side. You can arrange small items within the grid in any configuration you like and they stay snugly in place. The one use I've found for them in my own way of doing things is within my briefcase. For class I always need the same five items (a laser pointer, a remote mouse and its usb plug, a clock/timer, and a thumb drive) and it's great to pull out the 5x10 Grid-it and have everything all together. There's even room for a tube of lip balm, a pen, and some post-it notes. So a good item, just a little different than I expected.
