Rhodesy Portable Air Conditioner Hose, Venting Duct Hose Extension PP 5.9 Inch Diameter Universal with Length 59 Inch

Perfect extension for an AEG ChillFlex Pro AXP26U338CW Portable Air Conditioner - just screws into the supplied venting duct hose.

This appears to be identical to the hose supplied with our AEG air conditioning unit but, of course, has no fittings at either end. Nothing is needed to join the hose to the AEG one as the window vent can be easily removed, and the two hoses twisted into each other before fitting the window vent on the new end of the longer hose. Excellent.

Bought this as an extension for the standard air hose which came with my De'Longhi Pinguino PACEX100 a couple of years ago. This extension hose is pretty much an exact match to what De'Longhi ships with - same quality and exact dimensions, just a slightly brighter white colour. The hose is also left threaded so I've simply lined this new one up with the existing one and rotated it a few times and the two have perfectly screwed together, similar to how you fit the various hose attachments each end. Fits together perfectly, no need for adapters or tape.I've then attached the De'Longhi end fitting to the end of the new hose and it plugs into the aperture mounting which came with the original machine.Those in the UK may be interested to know that although the machine comes with a window adapter for sash type windows, which aren't very common in the UK. what I've done is cut a piece of MDF from B&Q to slightly smaller than the size of my small angled bedroom window. I've then drawn around the wall mounting aperture which came with the machine and cut a hole out. Screwed the aperture fitting into the MDF and then it just slots into our bedroom window. The purchase of this hose extension means we can now extend the exhaust hose from the De'Longhi up to the window. Means we have a purpose built exhaust port without needing to open a larger window and drape the hose outside. Also better sound insulation and no cold air out/warm air in leakage. Works a treat!

Very good extension. Not issues so far with it.Quality is a bit better than the one that came with the Igenix AC (top is this, bottom is the Igenix one)Have used it up until last week and not issues with bending or heat.

I bought this to replace the pipe on my AEG air conditioner, however the diameter of the pipe is not 150mm as advertised (it is only 144mm) so it leaks hot air from the connection. So now I either need to source a better quality one or use duct tape to seal it off.

Was good when first purchased last August, used a few times during summer, but fell apart when got out this yearAs per title, first used last August and was fine, used towards the end of the summer and then put into storage in the loft, got out recently and the plastic has become brittle and simply started falling apart when extending.Amazon kindly offered me a refund, but this time I bought a different type.

Using with AEG ChillFlex Pro AXP26U338CWCurrently using it to extend the pipe that came with above air con unit. Makes it much easier to get the pipe out of the window without using extreme angles.Note that this screws into the existing pipe. No extra bits needed.

I used this in conjunction with another item to replace a portable aircon pipe (and extend it).It is basically the same/replacement of exactly what comes with most portable aircons, a good rigid pvc/plastic.
