Sturdy, good looking and functional, what more could you want!
I had been waiting and researching which type/brand of folding squat rack I wanted for my garage gym for months. Mainly stuck between the rogue and this one (I don't have the height for the fold down) due to both having stringers available or built in. I finally went with this one when Amazon had a $100 off coupon available.The unit itself was fairly easy to put together. It has mounting holes for either 24" or 16" studs which mine are 24" Easy to level out since my garage floor slopes a decent amount I did have to shim my rubber flooring to keep it level but better than mounting the rack slightly off kilter.It took me about an hour to get the whole unit put together and installed. It is sturdy, can hold more than enough weight for me. I have used the pull-up bar for both strict pull-ups and knees to elbows, it is a little tight to the wall to kip at 21" but I have a pull-up bar mounted to the garage ceiling for that. If you are looking for that was well in your rack you may want to look at one of PRX's fold down racks with the kipping bar.It is easy to fold, remove the 4 heavy duty pins and fold it in, sitting less than 7" from the wall. Huge advantage to someone like me who wants to maximize garage space.Excellent unit and would recommend it to anyone looking to save space in their home gym.
