Everything should be made of this!
This little box does its job and it does it well.It also looks lovely and (this is a weird positive for a box) it's so smooth and nice. I genuinely think everything should be made of bamboo fibres now. Its great for the environment and it also feels much nicer than plastic!

Box doesn`t close.
It is a very nice holder, a bit heavy, too, however I bought it for the purpose of carrying it with me when I travel, and for that is no good as the box doesn`t close.

Great product - shame about the size!
I love Ethique- I was always worried about going zero waste with my products because I have curly hair and they’ve made it so much easier. I can also take this soap dish on planes with me without having to put stuff. The only thing is, when I intially got the dish and my shampoo and conditioner bars, they didn’t fit inside the dish. It seems ironic that this dish is made for Ethique’s products and they didn’t fit, but I had to wait until I’d worn them down enough for them to just about fit, so I had to carry around the cardboard box from one for months. I’m on tour so I need all the space in my bag that I can get!

The box does not fit the soap!
The box is made to fit one shampoo bar and one conditioner, but it cannot be closed when they are brand new or even after a few washes. Considering it is made exactly for this reason and it offer no other functionality (for example the box is made to be in the shower, not for transport, as it does not lock) this is a big no from me. It is not a good product.

Not as useful
This in shower container seemed like a really good product. Eco friendly, nice looking and handy. However, there is no way to fit a bar of ethique, let alone two.

arrived chipped at the corners
holds 2 bars, one shampoo and one conditioner but I'm pretty disappointed to see that the edges of the container are chipped... Disappointed, to say the least

Broken on arrival
I'm not impressed. I don't know what went wrong. This product isn't cheap regarding that it's purpose is to hold soap however this is what my sister (who likes to be as zero waste as possible) wanted as part of a Christmas present. I was excited for it to arrive and to my complete disappointment, it came with 2 fairly sized chunks missing from it. I don't know what would've caused this apart from the lack of protective packaging or it being previously damaged before being sent. It does genuinely feel like a good quality product but it's just disappointing that it is broken. i hope that they will send a replacement or give me refund.

Too Small!
Too small for any normal bar of soap so useless!

Bathroom staple
Love this container! saves me a ton of trouble by keeping my soap bar dry once i m done with it, thanks to the grill at its bottom that drains the excess water. Thus, saving me also lot of money since the soap s life span is extended and i don t need to buy liquid soap. It is also made eco-consciously which is also why i picked this product. The color is very vibrant and the container itself although very simple and inexpensive is not cheap quality at all. Very sturdy and adds a refreshing splash of colour in the bathroom. Highly recommended; doing yourself and the environment a favor ;)

Not meant for traveling, but perfect for storage
This storage container does not snap close: The (appropriately heavy) lid just rests on top of the body of the container, so that you can just grab the lid with one hand, and then the bars of soap, shampoo or conditioner with the other.Here is what is nice:- The material feels very nice. Durable but compostable. You can see the color sort of changing a bit, because I assume that unlike fossil fuel plastics, this is not intended to last for a millennium.- The size is really well thought out: It is designed to house all your Ethique bars (up to three) which I think is very organized.I would not recommend this for traveling, or perhaps it could work with a rubber band fastening it close.

Makes the soap and shampoo last!
I have both the Ethique conditioner and shampoo bars in this. If you travel with this case you will need a rubber band to hold it together as it doesn't latch on. I carry it in my gym bag and my husband travels with his in his suitcase. I'm very happy with it as the shampoo and soap don't get soggy. The material looks like plastic but it's more fragile. If you drop it it will chip a little. I'm okay with that because I really want to find alternatives to using plastic.

You can place both shampoo and conditioner, but have to figure out the placing. It'll be a tight fit.
