This medicine works as good as the brand name, but I did not like the taste. I ordered the honey flavor by mistake. I know it is to mask the yuckiness of the medicine, but I really do not like honey, so it tasted so bad to me.

This is just like a popular brand of night time cold and flu over the counter medication. In addition to colds, I have a lot of allergies which can trigger long coughing spells that only strong prescription medication can handle. I am not fond of RX meds that can be habit forming so avoid those if at all possible. That's when I use the Amazon Basics syrup. It deals with the horrible congestion and stuffiness, as well as the coughing. This syrup includes pain reliever, antihistamine, cough suppressant and decongestant. DON'T take other OTC meds with this. Read the label and adhere to the instructions. Be sure you don't have to drive after taking this medication. It really seems to help me with the common cold symptoms and this brand is usually more economical.
