Eco Animal Pet Products Furry Ferret Buddy – All Natural Fur Friend for Ferrets

I only received this yesterday, but had to review it immediately after finding my cat snake cuddled up with it this morning. I had two ferrets, but sadly had to put one of them to sleep last week due to a progression in her illness. My ferrets have been together every single day for the past 6+ years and would literally spoon each other when they settled in for bed at night. I was so worried that my baby would be lonely without her best friend and knew I needed to find something to try and fill the void while she mourns the loss of her sister.I introduced her to her the furry buddy as soon as it came in the mail and when she would find a comfy place to take a nap, I would tuck it in around her so she knew what it was there for. When bedtime came, I simply set it in her crate on her bed and decided I would let her choose whether or not to sleep with it. When I found her this morning, she had dragged it deep under the covers with her and was snuggled up soundly. I know it doesn't replace her best friend, but I'm hoping it will help comfort her while her heart heals from the loss.

I’m honestly furious! This is supposed to be an “all natural fur” yet it REEKS of either perfume or some type of chemical; to be honest I’m not sure which, but I have a MASSIVE headache & I’m nauseous.This product is marketed to/for Ferrets. The least this company could do was take into consideration that Ferrets CANNOT properly process toxins from chemicals/perfumes out of their system. Either this smell is from whatever they did to prepare this “all natural fur friend for ferrets” or it was picked up from wherever they had it stored. Either way it’s enormously irresponsible of this company to ship it out to customers & potentially cause injury to their ferrets! I currently have this product “off-gassing” outside in hopes it will at some point be safe to introduce to my 15 week old ferret Ferris Bueller. Thankfully I opened it & recognized the issue before providing it to my little kit. Hopefully “Eco Animal Pet Products” does something to address this issue moving forward.“...ferrets lack an enzyme necessary to metabolize and flush these toxins from their bodies. Like the product. Seems like good quality and almost freaks me out sometimes when I pick it up cause it feels like a ferret a little lol. My boy is really interested in it. Whether he ends up liking it or not, I can totally see where this would help a grieving ferret. It's similar in length and width. I am totally willing to bump up the stars if the seller is able to answer where this fur comes from. Seems like it has been asked a few times with no response. I think the question answered might help you sell more. The fact that this wasn't answered makes new have reservations about my purchase. Hopefully there is a good explanation cause this is a great product and I would really love to help promote it for you.

Honestly, as fur product goes, this isn't a bad one. My ferrets seemed somewhat interested in it, but they have never been too interested in soft things. I got this because I was curious.As long as your ferret won't eat it/likes fluffy things, I'd say they'll enjoy this product.

My ferret likes to play more than cuddle with this but I come home to him sleeping with it often.If you have a ferret that gets lonely, this is a must have. Great product, soft and cozy.

My ferret is by himself and he loves to wrestle with it and play with it. He moves it around his cage and playpen. Great product. He cuddles with it a little. It now but when the weather changes he will cuddle more for warmth I bet.

Very good condition, my ferret seems to love it...although I was very disturbed to realize it is REAL fur and includes the hide.

I bought this for my ferret to use as a cuddle buddy, as he is my only one and I worry he is lonely at night (he cuddles with my cats during the day, so that's not a long-term problem!). So far, my ferret seems to like his ferret buddy and snuggles up with him most nights.
