Had no problem replacing a stubborn watch back with it. I had struggled with the back for an hour before giving up and ordering this press. I unpacked it and had the back attached in less than five minutes.

extremely sturdy

I was very disappointed that it is not possible to clamp this onto any of my standard (Laminate/Formica) counter-tops! Granted, it was my own fault for not paying close attention to the measurement stated for the clamp opening. I swear the info stated that the opening was 1.5 inches, but it really is only 1.2 inches. lol Of course, my counter tops all measure a hair over 1.5 inches. :/I'm fairly sure that the end of the clamp bolt is glued on, so can't remove it in order to make it fit the thickness of my counter tops. I was also hoping to be able to remove the clamp bolt so that I could attach it to the nice camera tripod that I already own, so that was also disappointing.It does seem to be very well made, so I debated on only removing one star or two (or any at all) because of the clamp opening size issue, as it IS stated in the description. However, since others commented about the same thing and from what I could find a 1.5 inch thickness is fairly standard for laminate counter tops (at least in the US), I feel like it's something the manufacturers could have considered when designing it, especially when they took so may other factors into account to make it better than other wig clamps.All that being said, the clamp, as a whole, does seem to be very well made (much better than the one that came with the blocking/mannequin head I bought...even thought that one fit my counters). It will probably last quite a while.

It hold really well to my styling

The clamp that came with my daughters mannequin head broke after only a few uses so we bought this one to replace it. I was hoping for something great, but for the price was a bit skeptical. Technically it does what it claims to do. It holds a mannequin head clamped to a table so you can decorate it's hair. The reason I like it but don't love it is because I notice that she is constantly having to tighten it. She's not rough with it yet no matter how much her mother or I tighten it loosening occurs. It will work for now, but eventually we'll get a better one.

So far so good. I just used it for the second time and it works well. I say this the previous one I had broke before I even got it connected. It was such a bust. This is metal. It’s sturdy. It allows you to swivel in any direction. I can also lock it off so it’s not moving. Both of which have been sooo nice. I will keep using it. See if it holds up. But it came fast. It was well priced. Easy to use. Already put together when I got it. So no assembly required. Can’t wait to keep using this.

First time using a clamp I love it, great for styling all my wigs, I use it on my wood snack folding table making it comfortable while sitting in a chair. The clamp head rotates easily and you can also position it in a lock position. It's very sturdy and I never had to adjust it while it was clamped to my table. Highly recommend.

Do not like how the head holder loosens up as I move the head around have to tighten it it every few turns of the head. Annoying!

Looks and feels like a good quality clamp but does not fit on my kitchen bench top as it won't open wide enough.I initially brought it to dit my bench top but will use it somwhere eles instead.

I just wish that the top had the ability to to go all the way to the left, right, front or back. I wanted to be able to attach it to a chair and then have the top be bend up but it wont do that. Still works if you have the table at the right height.

This item is well made but I wish it was a bit taller when clamped onto a table, it’s a bit low! I also find that the clamp doesn’t open wide enough, it doesn’t open wide enough fit my kitchen counter top! I have to find a narrow table or counter to clamp it onto which is inconvenient to not be able to just use the kitchen counter! If using on a thin table or counter it would be excellent!

I like the quality of the product. It seems to be very sturdy and well built. I wish it can open a bit wider to fit on my counter. But cause I had a variety of other options, it seems to be a good buy

The clamp was amazon. I use it to make wig units. You have to just make sure the edge of the table isn’t too thick or else the clamp won’t fit. Even if you get it on, it’ll slip off while you’re working on your wigs. So make sure to clamp it on a thinner edged table and it’ll be great. Overall it works well and saves me the headache of holding a flimsy foam head while trying to make a wig. It’s very durable and fits well with the actual canvas heads
