They say they will handle a lot of power - but they DO NOT
These say they can handle up to 400 watts " NONSENSE "I Connected them up to my DENON PMA-720ae which is rated 50watts pr channel into 8 ohms / 70watts per channel into 4 ohms .Listen to Judas Priest best of cd " LIVING AFTER MIDNIGHT " Turn amp up to about 12oclock and the speakers sound terrible ' they are just tinny noise from the left and they sound like they are being throttled to death .Maybe these are no good for loud heavy metal music ?NOPE ! I then tried the very best of Dannii Minogue(NO LAUGHING PLEASE) And even with her first single " THIS IS IT " the TIBO's sound terrible . Turn the 50 / 70 watts Denon amplifier to 3 o'clock and it's just pure noise ' no detail and in a nut shell these speaker " CAN NOT HANDLE LESS THAN 70 WATTS " they are cheap tack ! The sound and build quality is poor ' the pips have been removed from the screw terminals to allow a banana plug to fit . The screw terminals are quite slack .The banana plugs I use " MILTY ' SHARK ' SEWELL ' NAKAMICHI which fit tightly in all other speaker terminals are quite slack on the TIBOs .I know you get what you pay for but these are just pure garbage and a waste of time and money
