First impression very good
So this review is a first impression review. I’ll update as I use it more often. Also, please note that I am an Amazon Vine Voice reviewer but this item is not a Vine item and I paid for it myself. So I got this remote because I acquired an ultra short throw projector with an absolutely junk remote. I was looking for a quality BT remote with mouse function. So, this fit the bill. Here are some things to note: It has IR, and BT with USB, but those aren’t necessary if your device has BT built in like my projector. I used BT without usb and it was easy as can be to connect to my projector with just BT.The mouse function is top of this world! I has used another remote where the cursor slowly moves as you push the arrow keys. How annoying! Not this gem. Here, you simply move your hand with the remote and the mouse cursor follows! Give that engineer a cookie! Where has this thing been my whole life?I’m still working on what it does and doesn’t do, but it seems to work well and is backlit! You can actually see the buttons in the dark.Overall, so far this thing is a huge win. Great price without a doubt.I haven’t tried voice and some other things, but for what I wanted this for, top notch!I hope this review was helpful!

Great remote for the NVidia Shield
I bought an NVidia shield about a year ago. I immediately realized the remote was junk.It was all form over function, without buttons to pause, mute, or fast forward and rewind. This remote is great. It works perfectly with my Shield, and adds buttons to add all of the functions I need. I highly recommend this for the previous generation Shield. This is my second G20 remote. I lost my previous one, and had to use the original remote while I waited for a new one to come. I was thrilled to get my favorite remote back.I don't use the air remote at all. It may help with some devices, but I don't think it improves the Shield experience at all.

Buttons need remapping for Kodi, otherwise great.
I like the feel of the buttons, they have a nice click. The air mouse is better than some other remotes I've used in this price range. I'm running Kodi under Wayland, so none of the X remapping works. I'm using evdevremapkeys to fix the OK button and remap the voice button as well. OK is KEY_SELECT and the voice button is KEY_VOICECOMMAND which I remap to KEY_ENTER and KEY_I.

Doesn’t turn on my box
Once I programmed this remote to my box, it worked great. However, once I turn it off I can’t turn it back on with the power button. The voice activation doesn’t even work either. Waste of money.

He who has few expectations is easily pleased
I bought this remote to work with an OSMC media station on a Raspberry Pi - in case anyone else is in a similar situation, I figure I should leave a review. This remote mostly works as expected out-of-the-box, however, the ok button does not work in non-mouse mode - and as a controller for Kodi, that's kind of a big deal. You *can* get it working (I found a github issue opened reporting a similar issue that walked me through the necessary config file change to remap the key to the enter button) but it's not ideal and requires some technical know-how beyond pairing the remote or using the OSMC key remapper plugin (which I tried - it did not work).THAT BEING SAIDNow that I have the remote up and running, it performs well in my usage so far. It's cheap, it controls my media, volume, etc. with no issues, and has otherwise performed reliably and without issue. If you're technically inclined enough to set up an OSMC server and read a few github discussions, this remote should suit just fine - if you're just looking for a plug-and-play bluetooth remote, look elsewhere.

Works for TCL 85QM850G
I purchased an open box TCL 85" QM8 (85QM850G) and forgot to check that the remote was included. I used a phone app for a bit, but it didn't always connect/work. I've been using a Roku, but also wanted to be able to have access to the TV's direct settings for picture/sound. I popped the usb dongle into the USB slot and the remote worked immediately and allows me to continue to use the Roku, but open up the TV settings at the same time. Happy with the purchase.

Will not work with Kodi on windows 11
Remote Bluetooth is not compatible with windows 11 pro. When pairing it reports “driver error”. No drivers avail. With sub dongle it works kinda. Not all buttons function. For kodi this does not work. “OK” button is non responsive and will not respond to key mapping edits.

Affordable, effective
I paired this remote with my Google TV so that I could use the 1 and 3 buttons to control the speed of YouTube videos (using the SmartTube app). It worked very effectively for this.I was also able to power on & off my entertainment system with the IR learning, which worked the first time. It's smaller than I expected, which is a good thing. It's sleek, simple, and just works.

Works great with NVidia Shield
My original Shield remote was starting to fail, always needing batteries and randomly disconnecting. Good reviews online for this replacement and I have to agree. In many ways it’s superior to the original. If there’s any issue is that it kinda stores key presses, so if you’re increasing the volume it stores the key presses and if you hold the volume too long it’s stored all them as separate key presses. Meaning your volume will go ALL the way up before it starts back down. But you learn quick.Great unit so far.

nice replacement remote
This works great with any android box with usb input. the remote does everything the original can do. this one has lit up button that helps to see in the dark. nice cursor feature that allows me to point to any where in the screen instead of using buttons. no need to set up. it comes with a usb that you plug into your device to start using. sometime , it does lacks a bit. you have to press the button a few times. over all, very happy it this remote. recommended.

Bought to use with UGOOS SK 1 Android TV Box - A1 👍
Paired Bluetooth on TV box and everything functions correctly including Volume right out of the box. Love the backlight.

Button Presses will lock
The remote itself is nice, light, and has a good range.Unfortunately, this remote has an infuriating habit of "holding" a keypress seemingly at random times.I can hit buttons like volume up or skip numerous times without issue. However, occasionally the remote will keep transmitting a keypress even after I've released a button. This results in the volume sometimes cranking up or while trying to browse Youtube it will keep scrolling really fast when I've only hit "right" once. You can tell it is still transmitting because the red light that tells you it is transmitting a signal will just stay on until you tap a button again.I wish I could continue using it but this bug is too much of an issue.

Presque parfaite.
