I let the water cool off some and I got my first semi-correct tray
I read the reviews but I ordered anyway as it claims to cover all teeth. I assume this meant it would cover all teeth surfaces, as I want all white teeth, not just the front of my teeth. I wanted the backside to be white too. This will NOT do that.I first followed the instructions and that was a HUGE mistake! To show how they can't write clear instructions, here is an excerpt: "Boil a pot of water and then reduce heat slightly so that water is now longer boiling." That was step 1, here is step 2: " While holding onto the tab on the front of dental tray, soften the dental tray by submerging it into BOILING water for 3-10 seconds, etc.The all caps were mine. Which is it? Boiling or not. I brought my water to a boil, then I turned it off so it wasn't boiling. I inserted the first tray for the minimum time: 3 seconds. I ended up with a ball of plastic. I tried the second one (4 were in my kit) with the same result, using three seconds. With two left, I let the water cool off some and I got my first semi-correct tray, but one side folded back on itself. I re-heated just that side and I got a better result after several times. My last one turned out better, but it required several immersions. All four were used and I didn't make one for my upper teeth! Each tray had a sharp edge on the left side. After heating, it wasn't as sharp. So, if you let your boiling water cool down for several minutes after the boiling stops, then you have 4-6 seconds of heating time. But, I already had a tray for whitening my teeth! I bought this to cover all of my teeth, front and back. It will not cover the backside. The instructions tell you to cut off any portion on your molars. I ignored that as I wanted them white too.For a bite guard splint, it will be fine for that, if you manage to make one good one! It turns out that it is the same length of my higher quality whitening tray, that I bought here.My sincere suggestion is not to waste your money on this product!Edit: If you want to whiten all tooth surfaces, from what I've seen, your dentist is the only one who can make them. It isn't that expensive if you buy the whitening gel here and if he doesn't charge for the visit. If so, read on. Despite my review, if you follow my directions, you can make a decent whitening tray and/or bite guard.

A bit tricky
The trays ultimately did the job but they "melt" quite fast and after botching one the second and third were not great but did the job. I think they need to be a bit more sturdy.

Dont waste your money!
This is NOT my first time buying moldable "at home" bleech trays. I lost my last set, and expected close to the same results from this brand. I used all three trays trying to make one decent mold for my teeth, but I was very dissappointed. These will be fine if you plan to bleach for a short amount of time, but not for overnight. I found better results for the price from a Rembrandt whitening kit (trays included) that I purchased for $19.85.
