Yes, it's more expensive than others on Amazon, but this tablet holder is no cheap, flimsy bit of plastic. It is a solid, well designed, and sturdily-built piece of equipment that holds my tablet securely in position with no fear of it falling out or moving out of position. Comments about the gooseneck being stiff are 100% accurate, and I wouldn't want it any other way. This holder is designed to be installed, positioned, and left there. In my case, on the Water Rower, all that is needed to accommodate people of different heights is to slightly tilt the swivel head which can be done without needing to loosen the retaining "nut" on the back. Truth be told, unless you're going from someone 6' tall to a child 3' tall, even this should be unnecessary. The mounting clamp is adjustable to fit various thicknesses of material and includes rubber pads for both the adjustable portion and the fixed area which protects both sides of the mounting surface and provides friction to help prevent movement. Furthermore, it comes with three different sizes of clamps which can be mixed and matched to fit just about any tablet securely. There are even small rubber plugs to fill the ends of the grooves into which the clamps are slid, providing a clean, finished look. I challenge anyone to find a better holder! A+ execution and 100% recommended!

This is a very sturdy and solid tablet holder for an “exercise bike.”This is a very solid piece of “equipment.” There is nothing fragile about it. The stiffness of the neck negatives that you will see from others, yes the statements are true - but I don’t consider what I’m about to say to be a negative. The neck takes some effort to bend or adjust it to your suitable setting. This is needed. This is what you want. Why? Because if this was a flimsy gooseneck and you were riding hard on your exercise bike, the tablet would move up and down and shake all the time. Not with this exercise bike tablet holder. Also, I’m using a 10 inch tablet. A flimsy gooseneck would not hold a 10 inch tablet it would droop down. There is no drooping, No dropping down with this exercise bike tablet holder. This exercise bike tablet holder is not made for constant adjustment while you are riding. I have it set to where it fits me. I don’t need to move it again. If I did, I’d just take the tablet out “put a little effort” into it and bend the neck. Putting the tablet into the holder and taking it out is a snap. Now, You can’t have it both ways people. You can’t have a sturdy tablet holder and a flimsy neck. This is a tremendously sturdy tablet holder. If you are looking for a sturdy table holder this is what you are looking for. Yes , you will need to put some effort into adjusting the neck. Get over it. When you get this very sturdy tablet holder adjusted to where you want it you will be VERY VERY VERY pleased. If you buy a flimsy gooseneck tablet holder “you will be VERY disappointed.” It will not hold your heavy tablet - that is, a flimsy gooseneck tablet holder on an exercise bike. The first thing I noticed is that the desk mounting bracket is all metal making it both strong and durable. And it clamps really well to tubing, something I was concerned about (I have this mounted on a metal bed frame). The rubber caps on the mounting bracket and clamp have divots that fit the pipe and help keep it in position. The only down side I have found so far is that the neck does not bend. I don’t know if it is solid metal or not, but I can’t get it to bend so that shape you see in the product image is it. The mount for the tablet holds very well and is adjustable to different positions. It seems to tighten well but is made of plastic and so may get looser over time with use. Overall I’m happy with this, it is working out for my use, I just wish the arm was flexible.

I seldom write reviews, but this tablet mount absolutely deserves it. Granted, I just installed it about 30 minutes ago, but after testing the strength and reliability, I would be surprised if this thing failed anytime in the near future - it's that solid. Placed the order last night and it arrived this afternoon (that was FAST). Setup was a sinch - nearly impossible to screw it up. In 5 minutes I had the clamp installed at the end of my desk. Mounting my iPad Pro 12.9'' was a breeze. The reason for my purchase was to have my iPad serve as a 2nd monitor for my Macbook Pro. (that functionality is available once you update your MacOS to Catalina - it's called "Sidecar"). I also wanted to be able to use the iPad for video conference calls/Facetime without having to use my Macbook front-facing camera. This is exactly what I was looking for. I LOVE that I can utilize my iPad as a 2nd monitor without having to worry if it'll hold up. I can honestly say that I have zero concern of this product failing. Oh, and let me just say that the adjustable arm is not your typical floppy, bendy, bouncing type arm. The material is heavy-duty and will only bend if YOU bend it. For those who own the 12.9'' iPad, you know that it's not necessarily a 'heavy' tablet, but it's most definitely a large device (and expensive, nonetheless). The size and the weight of my iPad is no challenge for this mount. Even when swiping, tapping, or adjusting the iPad it holds strong and steady. I'm really impressed with how sturdy this clamp mount is! There is no way this thing will ever move accidentally. In fact, it may be difficult to position it if you don't have much strength in your hands. This clamp is exactly what I wanted... there is an adjustable and secure desk clamp. The clamping distance can be adjusted with a phillips screwdriver. The extension bar is very difficult to bend. I recommend bending it to the shape you want before mounting your monitor/tablet. The angle/tilt of the display is adjustable with a ball/socket mount. Finally various size mounting arms are included plus a very strong spring loaded clamp to hold your monitor/tablet. Just choose the mounting arms that are closest to your monitor size and the spring will allow additional stretch. The mounting arms slide onto rails on the main display mount, allowing for various widths as well. You can use just 1 top and bottom arm for narrow devices like a phone, or 2 arms on the top and bottom for wider devices. Very happy with this purchase!

This really should be a 5 star product but mine came without instructions and was missing the little rubber pieces that hold the legs in place. I didn't need instructions since I've set many of this kind of stand up in offices and patrol vehicles but the ruber pieces are another issue. Without them, the legs move freely on the rails and fall out. I made a short attempt to get support from their support link but was directed to their general website. Basically it looked like more trouble than it is worth so a little silicone caulking will solve my problem:) In spite of the 3 star rating, this really is a solid stand. It is built heavily and doesn't wobble. For those complaining that it is hard to bend please realize that that is the entire point of the rigid material. The thinner goosneck materials are much easier to adjust but they wobble all over the place.

This tablet holder is SOLID! I use it in a band - it hasn't let me down in a few years usage. The gooseneck is firm and takes a little effort to adjust but, that's what you want if you don't want it to move! I've been through a heap of tablet holders and rate this the best...
