2006 Ridgeline
I purchased these a few years ago to replace the front speakers in my '06 Ridgeline. I don't remember any major issues when installing those so I purchased another set to finally get the rear speakers replaced. the inner mounting tabs are made to be easily removed to fit the speaker, but I did have to cut off a few of the outer mounting tabs that are supposed to be screwed down to the door. There's enough forming on the door panel that it wouldn't sit flush without at least one of the upper tabs removed and the lower, center tab removed. Another issue is that the clocking of the mounting holes for the speaker makes it so the speaker is rotated about 45° in when installed. Based on the shape of the cutout in the door, the electrical connections end up extremely close to the metal door panel. I had to bend the connections up and away from their default position and then added electrical tape to the door panel to make sure the speakers don't end up grounding out. It isn't what I would call a perfect fit, but it works well.

2006 Acura TSX how to install 6.5 speakers with bracket.
2006 Acura TSX...! That’s right it fits the Acura TSX 2004-2008 it’s so hard to find information on our cars for door speaker kits So I decided to help all of you that are scratching your heads like I was.- All I did place the 2 bottom tabs on the stock bottom holes in the door then I grabbed a marker and marked the 3 holes in the speaker bracket to the door.- I then got a 1/8 drill bit and drilled all 3 marks.- I then grabbed 3 self drilling screws and screw then into all 3 holes.- I then grabbed some Gasket maker rubbed it all around the bracket so that when it drys up it creates a rubber gasket so it won’t vibrate.- I then placed the speaker in place.- Speaker I used (( Alpine Type S model S-S65 they are 6.5 in size ))-Then screwed it in with 4 self drill screws it lines good enough to to the bracket with the speaker holes.-After that your set to put the door back together. Then enjoy your awesome new sound they sound so much better then the stock speakers no need for after market amp. The stock amp powers them just great.I posted pictures of the items you might want to buy if you don’t have them. I bought everything here on amazon reference to the pictures to see the items you need. Please like if this helped you !! Thanks

You people who complain...???
Yep, plastic. This fits front ridgeline doors easily, clip it in and drive "sheet metal framing screws 1/4 inch" carefully to avoid flexing. They pulled tight. I was deadening the doors with 80 mil noico at the time so i sealed up the contact seam. The rear doors required clipping the mounting tabs very slightly on two of the three and making sure your holes dont pull the adapter out of round. I used a 3/32" quick click drill bit to make new holes in the clipped/shortened mounting tabs and two holes at the bottom. 4 screws, no flex, nice and flat. Yes, they will strip out easy. Go hand-snug (you wont get it tight) on the speaker screws. Works like it was made for infinity kappas which are coming out to accomodate pioneer 6.75 d components... Wish me luck. Anyway these adapters are perfect and all there is available, so go easy and use your head. If you need big, deep custom mounts, use 1" mdf in front but be warned, the rear door skins have a sealing cylinder that meets the mounting ring/surround area of the speaker, you dont have any room for spacers without dremeling that plastic ring off the back of the door skin...

EZ solution
It was tricky to get the 5” Infinity mids to bolt in, but it worked with foam baffle filling the void. The 6” Infinity coax speakers were ez.

DR IRV APPROVES 2008 RIDGELINE UPGRADE
Installed Kenwood speakers in 2008 Honda Ridgeline. This item fit perfectly, resulting in a clean, professional install. This adapter is a must, don't even consider salvaging the replaced mounts. The originals are garbage, as are the original Honda speakers. You will need to supply 3 sheet metal screws.

Also fits 07 Honda fit
These are cheap cheerful and effective, though for my machete 6.5 speakers I did need to do some small training but it didn't take long

Good quality but does not fit.
Does not fit on my Canadian 2007 Honda Civic LX 4 dr sedan. Period. Miissing center screw hole on top, and the 2 pins on the bottom are too wide. Useless. 3 mounting points are wrong. And I missed my return window by one single day ! (which is my fault, granted.) 2 Mountings pins on the bottom are 5in. apart. need to be more like 4in. .Pros: Good quality plastic. Right thickness (1inch). 4 Speaker holes are ok. Fits 6.5 in speaker well (4 hole mount). But does not attach to my front door... Maybe I'll use tiwraps !
