Fab Phone
I was after a replacement for my Moto G5 phone. Was after: Dual SIM, NFC (as due to the pandemic, contactless payments are becoming more desirable), Up to date Android version, minimal manufacturers bloatware, not too expensive. The Nokia 4.2 seemed to tick all the boxes. However some of the specialist reviews seemed to criticise its camera and processor speed. At 5.7" the screen is a good size without making the phone stupidly large. It has NFC for Google Pay, although I haven’t tried that yet. I bought the dual SIM version, beware there is also a single SIM version too. Came with Android 9, which upgraded to Android 10 (when I was setting it up). This phone is part of the Android one programme which guarantees it gets updates (for 2 years I think) and is a stock version of Android (free from manufacturer’s bloatware).First the good:Not an expensive phone, I put in a Micro SD card (Samsung EVO Plus 128GB) to expand the 32GB internal storage.Camera works well, despite the expert reviews criticising it!I use the phone for: web browsing, texts, email, phone calls and running shopping and banking apps. Also use the ViewRanger app (with 1:50000 OS maps). The processor handles all of these with ease, without any speed issues.Excellent battery life. Should last most people 2 days without any problems.I also bought an inexpensive case, which I would recommend:https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07T2C7GQK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Now the bad:The finger print is poorly positioned on the rear of the phone, it’s awkward to use. It’s even worse to use when the phone is in a case. I would recommend using the PIN or pattern to unlock. It has a notification light which is on the power button, however most cases cover the button, so you can’t see it. Not a major issue, but just defeats the point of having the notification light.I would recommend this phone. It’s a very good phone for the price. Works well.

Really lovely phone for the money
I bought this for a family member so we could do video calls during lockdown. My main phone is a Nokia 7 Plus, and just as I've come to now expect from Nokia, it's a really nice minimal Android setup with no bloatware, nice, fast, elegant and simple out of the box.As part of the Android One program it is well supported by updates to the operating system, and Android 9 (Pie) is a decent modern solid version of Android and is well supported by applications. At this price point I see a lot of phones running much older versions of Android, so this is really nice to see.32GB of built in storage is very decent, much larger than most in this segment of the phone market - this is plenty of space for a bucket load of games and apps + photos and video. The camera isn't too bad, had no trouble setting it up, and so far it has worked fine. It's no power house of a phone, but I work in the field of mobile phone graphics, and one of the first things I do when any phone crosses my path is to run a few graphics benchmarks on it and it's pretty respectable for the market it is aimed at, so absolutely no complaints from me.

No phone connection in car
The phone is good value for what it is but I am not a constant user. What I DO rely on is my hands free connection in the car, which does not work. I've investigated this online and thre are many other threads making the same complaint. From what I gather an update to the Android OS in some Nokia phones caused the Bluetooth connection to partly fail. Some can play their music, but none seems to be able to get phone connectivity. There are many options suggested online to try and resolve the problem including disconnecting and reconnecting BT but none work - I've tried them all. If you need phone access in your car, don't buy this. Unfortunately I found out too late to return mine, so I may end up buying another - but not a Nokia.

Nokia 4.2 Excellent Phone for £120 - far superior to my prevIous purchase 2 weeks ago - IT WORKS
After purchasing an Android Note7P three weeks ago for £80 that just was not fit for purpose and just crashed all the time and had to be returned, I realised that 1 star ratings should be read with more relevance that 5 stars. That said I am glad I paid the extra for this Android One phone, and completely disagree with any 1 star ratings that it has received, this phone is a Nokia, a solid phone manufacturer. I have had no issues whatsoever with the Android Software, the battery life is impressive and the user experience far superior to what I expected. The only fiddly bit was transferring the SIM & SD Card, the good thing they sit in an external tray and you dont have to take the back of the phone off, but at first it seems a bit of a puzzle how they sit in the tray. But after using a combination of the instructions and YouTube I was able to quickly confirm what I thought was correct. A great phone even at double the money. Mine was supplied by Technolec UK, a first class supplier, kept me informed throughout the order process right down to the one hour delivery slot without prompting - a good experience all round.

Awesome cheap phone
So, for the price this phone is unbeatable. I chose this phone as I am very active and often break phones so I thought I would buy a cheap and simple phone. I use to use an iPhone 6s until it broke the a Moto g6 pro until I returned it. This phone is hands down the best. Okay the camera is NOT the best in the world and is more like one from 2012, the face recognition isn't the greatest and a don't even use the finger print reader cause it never seems to recognise me and it came sometimes be a little slow to load apps but what do you expect. I think for the price Nokia have nailed it, the screen is great, the size is brilliant given how big phones are getting. It does exactly what it needs to do AND it's on AndroidOne so it receives very regular security and feature updates and will for for a few years! Very happy with this phone and if it breaks or I lose it, I will buy another and still won't have spent half as much money as what I would have done buying another phone
