This product is great for the price. Unit works fairly well. RCA Inputs are indeed flimsy. I can see the switch failing if changed frequently. The first time I used it, I got audio feedback after about 20 minutes of play, but just flipped the switch back and forth and it has been fine ever since. I was not expecting much quality from this device but I don't really care. All I need it for is to switch between 2 audio inputs and no video. The casing came with a big crack upon delivery but who cares for the price. Audio quality is also fine. Bottom line, it works for now. That's good enough for me. Shipping was actually pretty fast and came before the projected delivery date.With that being said. When this thing fails I will buy a little better quality AV switcher. 5 stars just because of the price.

Like others I was hesitant to purchase this after reading some reviews. However, due to the low price I decided to chance it. I had just gotten a new Roku player and between my dvd player and Tivo - I was out of places to plug it in with my tv.It was extremely easy to hook up and works exactly as promised. For those you want to use this with Tivo, I did test out something. Even if you are on another device, your Tivo will still record as you scheduled. So you can be switched off of the tivo but it will record just fine.I sometimes hear a bit of that buzzing noise that others mentioned - but it seems to only be noticeable when I am fastforwarding while in Tivo mode or when scrolling through the different Roku channels. It's pretty faint - not loud enough to be annoying and I don't hear anything when I'm actually watching/listening to whatever I've picked.This is definitely a nifty device to have for anyone who has a lot of components (or just one too many for their tv)!

I ordered this 3-Way Audio/Video RCA Switch Splitter for my sister. My sister already has a game console connected to her TV that my nephew plays. She just bought a DVD player and she is not very technically versed, so for her to get behind her TV and constantly switch the audio/video cables between the two devices is not very feasible. I found this splitter on Amazon for $8. The switch is small and very easy to setup out of view. The splitter splits one audio/video connection into three. I was able to setup my sisters DVD player and my newphews game console to where all they have to do to switch between the devices is move a switch. The switch works great but there are a couple of cons. The switch is made a little on the cheap side and seems a little flimsy. Also it comes with a audio/video (red, white and yellow) cable that is made very cheaply and if you are not careful it will break if you force the connectors to hard. Luckily the company I bought the switch from knew this and sent me a seperate audio/video cable that was much longer and much more durable. Overall, I am happy with the switch and would recommend this to anyone who has numerous audio/video devices that they want to connect to their TV and are looking for a simplified way of switching between them.

My Husband is the original "Video Kid", so we own every game system out there. He has used every method to connect a game system to our TV including both RCA jacks. I wanted to add my Samsung DVD-V4600 DVD / VCR Combo, but there was no connection method left for it. I knew there had to be a way to fix this problem some sort of a switch rather than having to disconnect things when ever we wanted to use a different component. This is it! This is the solution I was looking for. It works great and it is an excellent value! It would be nice if appropriate sized labels for the most common components were included; I used my Brother PT1290 Home and Office Labeler and made labels to mark the inputs and the switch positions, but not everyone has a label maker. We connected the Wii with Wii Sports Resort - Black, Game Cube and the Samsung DVD-V4600 DVD / VCR Combo. Now when we want to use one of these components we just slide the switch; It is wonderful!!!! I would definitely recommend.

This unit works fine as long as you never have to unplug it once you have everything hooked up. It switches inputs the way it should, so it's great to have as a method for hooking up three video game consoles, or a console and a DVD player and a camcorder, or whatever else you might need an AV 3-way switch for. However, it is made of very flimsy plastic and the included cables are ultra LOW quality (which is why it's selling for so cheap) so you might actually break the stupid thing just by plugging the wires into the unit. Also, certain connectors have a problem plugging in because they are too fat and the holes on this unit are a little bit recessed so you may have to use a little more force to get them to connect snugly. Whatever you do, don't drop it or step on it. Don't EVER let your kids (under age 15 or so) mess with it because they WILL break it... even the "good" kids who are careful and never get in trouble. Hook everything up once, leave it on top of your entertainment center, and never mess with the wiring again!!!! Also, don't put the skinny TV connector cables anywhere near a cell phone or a microwave or a blender because their shielding/coating is so thin that they will pickup radio interference from such devices... cell phones especially. So keep your cell phones at least 6 feet away from the wires.

I got one of these a long time ago and still use it and it works great, but I needed another one and when I saw it on amazon I just went ahead and got it. It works as good as my old one. They are worth every cent.

Purchased for my 32 year old son who is a gamer and likes to run multiple systems for one TV set so this item fits the bill 100% once hefigured out how to install. Great product, excellent delivery.

Works as expected, however the av cable it comes with is a bit rubbish.The device needs to be flat and somewhere the lead won't be knocked at all or you wind up with transmission issues.I have to stress, this is the lead that's at fault as it's only caused when the lead is moved, none of my devices connected to this cause the same issue when knocked or moved.
