Great camera for the money
Reading so many negative reviews, I just had to see what my experience would be.Well, it was so positive that I bought another.Set up was easy, I had no problems getting either camera to work the first time. One camera had two bars, the other no bars and it still sent pictures. I installed a auxiliary antenna on the one with no bars and it boosted it to two bars. Bingfu 4G LTE Cellular Trail Camera Antenna RP-SMA, under $10 delivered!I love being able to monitor and change the status and settings. My experience was so positive, a third camera is in my future.I'm so glad I didn't let the negative reviews stop me from trying this camera for myself.

good so far
i have the micro link camera on my property now running a little over 2 weeks with no issues works great so i bought a second one.that one was not transmitting.i then noticed the sim card was not properly installed i took it out and put it in correctly.this camera is working fine now.i recommend setting the camera close to your house to see if there are any problems with it and then you could adjust it be fore putting it miles away.i will let mine run for 2 weeks in my yard then move it 60 miles away to where we hunt.

An average camera
Not great, not terrible. Have five, all AT&T and good signal where Verizon fails. Four are good, one died and is being returned. Customer service leaves something to be desired. Good options on the plans. The straight 4G model is the way to go, not the LTE version. Can look at other person's cameras with just their email and password. Battery life is average. Smartphone App is average. As more wireless cameras are becoming available from different manufacturers, I think service plans will come down in price and customer service will step up.Update 6/30/21 Camera is in an otherwise strong major carrier network area but is only showing 40% signal. Purchased the yearly subscription, 1k photos a month, and the network is either down or very weak on a irregular basis. Have an alarm system set up where the camera is and when I'm alerted by that, I should get photos. Doesn't take photos and doesn't transmit them. Not the batteries, I switched to a deep cycle 12v battery. Show 100% battery power and still no pics. Previously used Bushnell on the AT&T network and they worked 100% of the time but were hard on batteries, one of the reasons I switched to the Spypoints. For those reading this update and wanting reliability, would not buy this camera brand. Stick with one that uses AT&T.Edit after using for one seasons : Customer support is lacking and tech support isn't tech support, they just refer you to the website for problems and issues. You still have to work out problems on your own. Link MIcro and Link Micro LTE have known issues with connectivity. Tech support will advise to update firmware with a complicated and non user friendly process. If you aren't computer savvy, you'll will be lost. Also have to Bushnells that I have owned for four years and had zero problems. Bought the spypoints because of lower monthly costs. The headaches these cameras give one is not worth the three dollars a month saving.Final Verdict: Will not be purchasing any more Spy Point cameras.UPDATE 7/16/21, After no photos for two weeks, even after walking in front of the camera for five or so minutes. Got another from a friend, an LTE model, that he got for a returned one. Ate the battery pack juice in one day. Tried a 12V instead of the AAs, will not turn on. My friend bought six and has sent six back for replacement. Some of the replacements are DOA. I now have two useless cameras. Been using multiple brand cameras for over the years and this brand is the worst. My recommendation is to save yourself some grief and spend some more money and buy another brand of camera.Update 10/12/21Another of these we purchased has died. Out of all of them, there was better than a 50% failure rate after one year. We got tired of sending them back. Now they just go to the electronics recycle bin.

Look farther
This camera needs some serious design issues taken care of. If its raining don't expect to get clear photos just a bunch of orbs on screen. This is due to camera lens not being recessed enough into camera allowing water to get on lens. Other than that regular picture quality is also not that great when not raining. But otherwise camera does what its supposed to. Nice compact design

Great for the price. Easy to use if you follow instructions
Can’t beat $99 for a cell cam. Pic quality to phone leaves a little to be desired but if you pull the chip pictures are great. Need to stay up to date on firmware otherwise there can be a delay of several hours before pictures are transmitted to phone. I wish it had a few more options like number of pictures taken, video and ability to take a picture on demand from my phone but no complaints at this price point. I used lithium batteries and after 3 months they still have plenty of life even through New England winter. Alkaline batteries didn’t last nearly as long. Setup is easy if you read and follow instructions. For example, it won’t work with a chip over 16gb

Long battery life, small, setup took 5 minutes.
I had the link evo and it ran for a year until ants got into a crack in the door. The micro is much more compact, cheaper, and works the same. I use the energizer lithium disposable batteries and they worked right though the winter for an entire year. Hopefully the micro does the same. The app is a bit dated but it functions.
