Ordered the package of 12 tubes to replace fluorescent lighting in my shop. Tubes arrived in good shape. When I removed the ballasts and rewired the 2-lamp fluorescent strip fixtures, I needed to purchase some extra wiring but the cost was minimal and available locally. I used 8 tubes and all work perfectly. Tubes have a plastic protective layer on the lenses that should be removed before installation. I rotated the tubes a few degrees to the side to better distribute the light. Instant, bright light. No flickering, no buzzing. AM radio reception in the shop is still good. Color rendition is great. I would purchase again.

We are having our warehouse converted from fluorescent to LED. The fixtures were easy to rewire to use these bulbs and they are much brighter.

Have been debating swapping the old bulbs to led but was worried about the electric part of it.This is a super simple and quick swap.My ballast was under the shield so easy to access from underneath. Cut two wires and then attach them bypassing the ballast very simple.The brightness is amazing.I also dropped one of the led accidentally from high on the ladder. Didn’t break and works fine.Highly recommend

Used these to replace the old floresent tubes, just had to bypass the ballasts ,did not need to replace the end contacts on the fixtures (single pin). Very bright compared to the old tubes and no more ballast hum or flicker. Can't rate longevity as they are only a couple of weeks old. They may need some center support as the 8 footers are somewhat flexy and may droop once the weather heats up. I would recommend these as a replacement as they are a great upgrade with much more light and are well packaged.

I was looking for an alternative to the 8' lights I had in my shop as they cast shadows and didn't really provide the light I was looking for, not to mention that annoying buzzing and lag time when turned on in cold weather. Because the ceiling is 14' tall, I was worried about light dispersal so I went with these 44w lights over the lower wattage. I have 6 two tube fixtures covering 1500 sq. feet and could not believe how bright the light was after conversion to these tubes. It is the purest white light I have ever seen and I probably could have gotten away with the lower wattage tubes, but I'm glad I got these. Removing ballast and re-wiring was a breeze and took about 5 minutes per fixture. I did place a wire tie around the fixture and the tubes in the middle to help support the tubes and avoid sagging. They make clips that will do the same thing, but the wire tie worked just fine. I also found that if I "aimed" the light by slightly rotating the tubes away from each other the light spread out over a larger area and avoided all shadows. Shipping was very fast and tubes were extremely well packed and arrived by UPS earlier than estimated. Every tube lit instantly and completely and I could not be more happy with the results. Best money I have spent in a long time and the quality is awesome. I would highly recommend this conversion to anyone looking for a bright, clean, quiet, and efficient source of light.1/28/2020 update: I like these lights so much that I have decided to add several more 8ft. fixtures and install these tubes. If anything, I am more pleased the longer I use them. It is great to walk into the shop in the evening or first thing in the morning and have instant bright white light everywhere at the flick of a switch. Aiming the tubes with a 14' ceiling definitely makes a difference in light dispersal.
