Bad adhesive.
My tween son loves the design, but the adhesive didn’t last long at all. Normally I have to pry these suckers off of our phone cases. This one fell off after just a few weeks and is done for. I might find him a cheap one to switch the decorative plate for one day. (And yes, he’s using the same case he has for a long time, and has with many other popsockets!)
