Lost a tooth and damaged

So I liked this blade, and wrote a positive review that does not yet seem to be posted. Well I think a carbide tooth came free and did some damage. It was new plastic lumber so can’t imagine there was metal in it, and I didn’t see anything but some teeth after. Not thrilled, but anything is possible. Ordering another thin blade for plastic from a different company.

great cuts on trex deck, worked equally well on blocking for deck framing.

beautiful cuts on trex deck. Not one bad cut for a 380 sqft deck and 13 tread stair with fascia and edge boards. Aslo had a lot of blocking for railings and edge boards as we were moving along. When all was done, it was still like new.

Perfect for cutting composite decking boards

Makes a perfectly smooth cut without splintering or melting the composite decking. Mounted in my miter saw and works perfectly.

Good saw blade for the price

Fit my saw, cut Trex as needed and helped me finish the job. It's a saw blade, not much more to say.

Blade Was Bent when received

I'm not sure how but the blade had a bent tooth when received. The first Trex board I tried to cut it ruined so I'm pretty upset on both ends.

Love every detail of this excellent Blade from ALL the quality features to the price!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Okay, here is why THIS Circular Saw Blade is exceptionally great!First, it has C4 Carbide precision ground tips which is the Highest precision rating for general grades used to cut non-ferrous and non-metallic materials.Next, it has a Modified triple chip grind (MTCG) tooth profile which combines a balanced cutting force providing low tooth drag keeping the Blade cooler and “melt free” during cuts plus provides free chip flow which helps to eliminate chipping in brittle materials such as chip board, and laminates. Then it has a Ultra thin Kerf (1/16”in. vs a 3/32”in. regular thin Kerf or a 1/8”in. Full Kerf) which is easier on your saw’s motor and parts, waste less material with each cut, is much quieter then regular Blades (Great for complaining Neighbors) and vibrates less.(Great for people like me with Neuropathy, when making lots of cuts reduces my Pain Levels)They’ve even added Laser cut stabilization vents to the Blade which I’ve not even heard of in all my years of using Saws. But, assumed it was to offset the slight deflection which can happen when using a thinner Blade under a Real Heavy Load and might have been the only Negative of buying this type of Blade. (However, I looked it up and it is actually to provide additional noise reduction, cooling, and anti-vibration)And if all that wasn’t enough they added a Non-Stick coating that reduces drag and helps shield the blade even more against heat, gumming, and corrosion. They specially designed this Blade with ALL those cool features to maximize its cutting life when cutting composite decking materials and cellular PVC, but I Ordered it to cut our Laminate flooring we’re putting in and it is doing a Fantastic job!Normally professionals recommend a much finer tooth Blade for Laminates then a 48T (Like a 80T to a 100T) but with the C4 Carbide, MTCG, Ultra Thin Kerf, coated tips I wanted to see if it would make continuous Chip Free clean cuts on Laminate while not overheating or wearing the Blade, at the same time cutting through the Flooring quicker since it does have fewer teeth, which might actually make this particular Blade MORE Efficient to use for this purpose. My conclusion thus far is I Love it!It has exceeded my expectations. We’ve used it all evening on the Laminate as we go across, and it has not showed any sign of slowing or wear.If I could give it 6 Stars I would, but for sure a 5 Star Blade, and it’s only like $23 here on Amazon compared to paying $30 to $50 for 80T or higher regular Steel Blades that wouldn’t even last as long as a Carbide Tip Blade (Tungsten) which stays Sharp longer.

Excellent Blade for Composite Decking

I have been using FREUD blades for over a decade now and occasionally use a cheaper blades for demolition.I have reviewed one other Norske blade for masonry and now this composite decking blade. All I can say is that it competes very favorably with FREUD, and is better than DeWalt, Rigid and the other mid-level blade IMO.This one cuts thru composite plastics and such without burning or overheating the material. It leaves a smooth, fine cut.Maybe it was just the weather but it also seems like it creates less static electricity and the composite dust seems to stick less to everything (it still gets everywhere). The blade is perfectly balanced. It is a very thin kerf but seems to track very straight and true. The cut material looks like a factory edge when crosscutting. It even rips good too. You have to be more careful of deflection and slow the saw to the rate the blade wants to cut. With 48 teeth it is slower but very clean.I am impressed and will certainly have no hesitation on using this blade or a Diablo. It is competitively priced too.If you're looking for an alternative to the "red" blade why not try this "royal blue" one. I don't think you will be disappointed. 5 stars for performance and price.
