A bible for training
Nice and informative textbook. It is a bible for high performance training. Trainer and exercise specialist must read this book.

Big reference
Just a must have book for all kind of coaches for different sports. I really like it. But there is a not enough explanation about working on single side it isolate since its all about strength training. And I think its so important to include idea and work for corrections each side.

Dense...in a good and bad way.
Dense...this book is full of useful information. However, I'd only recommend it to the highly knowledgable health and fitness professionals. I am not a fitness professional, only an athlete who likes to understand the reasoning behind different programs and apply them to my needs. I was able to follow a lot of the information in this book, but struggled to digest a lot of the information provided in the book. i want to sell my book, but know I'll regret it later as much of the information here is rarely discussed in your typical health magazines/websites/etc...For a non-technical athlete, I'd say it's still worth a look.

Great Innovative Training book for peak events
Innovative training methods...if you train for events, you have learn the practices and principles in this book. I took Tudor's courses at York and they were groundbreaking.He has developed training schedules for Olympic teams around the world and every team as a whole improved substantially.If you want to perform and peak for an event...Learn this book inside out.

A masterpiece!
This book represents and incredible source of information, science based, that every coach should use as foundation of his or her training program designing. I've followed Carlo's seminars in Italy for 10 years now and I can say that his contribute to the book is far higher than the one a co-author could give. I highly recommend it to whoever wishes to take a step forward in understanding the strength training and periodization principles.

É incrível como em tempos atuais muitos personais se basearem na máxima de “meu aluno de personal não é regular, então não tem como periodizar” já pensou se essa irregularidade é culpa sua? Dê propósito ao indivíduo, trace metas realísticas e periodize!

Outstanding Book Again by Tudor Bompa
If I could give more stars, then I would. This is an outstanding book, which isn’t a surprise any anything by Tudor Bompa is brilliant. TheBook explains the different forms of strength training and how to periodise it effectively, in a very reader friendly way. Would absolutely recommend it. The book is an absolute steal for the price it is at.

Finalmente un libro serio!
Dopo tutti i libri spazzatura sull'allenamento che riempiono le loro pagine con le foto degli esercizi, finalmente un libro che tratta in maniera seria, scientifica e completa l'allenamento! Ogni capitolo è denso di contenuti e fornisce VERAMENTE gli strumenti necessari per comprendere i meccanismi che regolano e distinguono un buon allenamento da uno inutile/dannoso.
