Seems nice but won't work for me.
I ordered this to go with an Avery Trac-Loc push pole. My fault, I assumed that the ends would match up but not so. The pole should go inside the foot but they are the exact same size. It's a nice enough item, just won't work with the pole I got.

Why didn’t I get this sooner!!
Have a plethora of Bamboo so decided to use that as my pole. Sanded the sharp edges on the pole and now I have a 10ft push pole for my jon boat getting through shallows for snake head fishing. Worth every penny! The duck bill is spring loaded do you can actually squeeze it together. There is great for when it gets “stuck” it clamps together and comes out of the sludge and mud easier. Doesn’t come with screw or nut to attach to any pole.

Punt Pole Foot
The Aluminum foot is light weight and sturdy. This is good. In the description of the item it is stated: "push pole foot attachment adapts to most 1.25-inch (3.2 cm) diameter poles; Features two holes inside connection bar to attach to a snap button pole or to be permanently bolted to your pole". The connection dimensions are .28 inch or 9/32" O.D. with an I.D. of .156 or 5/32". Therefore, the fibreglass or aluminum poles that I have which all have 1.25 inch snap button connectors will obviously NOT fit. The Outside Diameter of .28 inch of the foot needs to be the Inside Diameter to accomodate the 1.25 inch male snap button connector that is very common. So, instead of using one of my manufactured poles that would have fit according to the description I am enjoined to make a pole myself that will accomodate the too small fitting on the foot that I was trying to avoid.

Lifesaver in the thick mud
First, the downside. The end is sized for an aluminum tube, which is expensive and hard to find, albeit the nicest option. I grabbed an 8' closet pole, shaved down the end, and had a nice push pole for under 20 bucks. This thing is a life saver. We pulled out a duck blind through the nastiest soupiest muddiest weed flat I've ever seen and this is the only thing that got us through. Doesnt hang up on weeds, even milfoil, yet gives enough purchase to push just about anything.

Size matters
The outside diameter of my Standard Go-Devil push pole and the outside diameter of the foot guide tube were the same. Therefore, I had to remove the feet from the bracket and drill a hole in my pole to mount the feet on my pole with the included hardware(without the guide tube). 3 stars because the description is misleading as to the actual dimensions. My only concern is that without the guide tube to take the strain off the pole, my pole will split or break. That being said, I read the reviews prior to buying this and knew it might not fit as designed.

BEWARE on POLE FIT
This item does not fit all marsh extension poles. You are better off not mixing brand names . They will not fit .
