Earthborn Holistic Coastal Catch Grain-Free Dry Dog Food

My dogs has allergies. He's allergic to grain and also grain fed chicken. He was scratching, chewing and causing hot spots on his head and back. This dog food is grain free and gluten free. It has a 5 star rating on dog good advisor. My dog is doing great since I switched him to this! No more itching, chewing, scabs or hot spots! It's also an affordable quality dog food. Earthborn Holistic has never had a recall in all their years! So glad I decided to swith him to this!

I have been feeding my dog earthborn for years. Its an excellent product that sources its ingredients domestically. The price is reasonable and if you have prime you cant beat the free shipping. Much easier than having to run out especially with a hectic schedule.

This is the best dog food. It's grain free and the fish has been amazing for my dog's coarse hair (it's silky smooth now...my vet had suggested adding a fish oil pill to his diet, but no need with this food). My dog also has a sensitive stomach, but has never had issues with this food. Additionally, Earthborn is a great company based in Indiana, and they do a lot for the local community (one program they did at my local pet store was collecting the bags and recycling them into art at the local park).

Switched to this food after a bad batch of Taste of the Wild. Only reason for four stars is because one of my four pups has slightly softer stool than I'd like to see. (This is 4 months after switching so he's as adjusted as he will be) So far it fits the needs of my two with health concerns and all of them enjoy the taste so we are satisfied.

My. dog. loves. this. stuff. When I tell you he murders the bowl, he destroy it. You can really tell the difference between a low quality dog food and a high quality food when it's meal time. The ingredients are of the highest quality - No corn meal garbage in here folks and honestly speaking, your dog will be eating better than you! Dogs coat? High gloss my friend. I had previously ordered the Great Plains variety and my eager eater/new adoptee wasn't really keen from day one. She ate it but clearly, with zero gusto. I appreciate the the brand and decided to give this well-rated variety a try. She *gobbled* it, first serving! The difference between the two kibbles was obvious. The Great Plains was flat, dry, almost powdery and this was smaller and richer in appearance. I'm just glad my girl's tastes can align with this great company!

On the Earthborn website, Coastal Catch is described as "Formulated without grain, gluten or potatoes,"However, the product now contains potatoes as its second ingredient, indicating it constitutes a significant amount of the kibble. As someone with a dog who reacts negatively to potatoes, I'm very disappointed that Earthborn can't bother to list its products ingredients correctly.

My senior dog was on Blue for quite a while but he started to be lethargic and not want to eat his food. At first I tried to supplement with canned but he still became fussy. Finally I decided to try a different brand and came across Earthborn Holistic at a local Pet Store. He has been on this food for a couple of months now and what a difference! He is eager to eat once again and he is more playful! This dog food made a difference, I have a younger happier dog once again!
