Review: Great Black Hard Tipped Brush Pen. Love The Grip on This! - This is a great black hard tipped brush pen. It’s very pigmented/dark and easy to use for beginners. Great for heavy handed letterer’s like myself. The grip is soft and a very nice touch. I wish more companies added this because lettering can tire the hands/fingers.

**Q: Is the ink water based?**
A: Yes it is waterbased. It is my go-to pen for detail on painting rocks and such. I love this pen. I bought several of them in all the sizes it comes in. MY FAVORITE!!!!!  You can do a light coat of spray clear over it also and it wont bleed like sharpie pens do when you clear over them. If you know anybody that paints rocks this is a MUST have!!!!!

**Q: Can these pens be refilled?**
A: No, they cannot be refilled.

**Q: Will this pen give me fine upstroke and thicker downstrokes to mimic a calligraphy font when writing in small size lettering?**
A: Yes, it will. It may be difficult for extremely small lettering, but the flexible point does allow you to mimic calligraphy.
