Good TV box you can do a little more with.
I like it a lot. I bought it after seeing a youtube video about using an android tv box to play old games with emulators. Got this to work with PPSSPP for PSP games and Reicast to play dreamcast games (redream ran too slow). I'm assuming it could also work with most emulators for systems older than Dreamcast. Does all the usual TV box stuff well too. One warning if you'd like to use with emulators for games. The setup is not very easy because it's android and your using a remote but for a $58.00 TV box that's also a Dreamcast and PSP now I think it was worth it.

Not 8.1 as advertised. Good otherwise.
This is most likely a great box for what it was intended for, but I've found that Android Version 8.1 is the only ver that works reliably with external USB devices such as UVC cameras or microphones. Problem is, this is Ver 9 box. Not as advertised. Doesn't work for my needs. Shame, as it has good specs otherwise and good software mix for the price.

Works as expected....I thought...until.....!
Works as expected. No issues with speed, apps, or connectivity....untill..... The unit indiscriminately turns off and recycles and that is an issue that could be a plague!! It has a loud opening intro every time. You can't enjoy using it as it will freeze and recycle - turning off. Terrible!!!I would like it to be thinner by 30%.

runs batocera!
this is a fantastic inexpensive box to use for your batocera arcade build. It's a cheaper alternative to a raspberry pi 4 and is comparable spec wise. I've had zero issues with it and am enjoying playing mame games on it .. hidden gem!
