This is a great way to play the lead part in a bunch of different songs. The cd plays the song with all the parts and then plays another version with just you playing the lead part.

I love this book. It gives me cool music to play and is helping me memorize the fingerings when I play with the recording and have to keep up instead of slowing down to think about it

Popular songs with good demo and backup music. Highly recommendable. For beginners too.

This is really well done for the beginner/intermediate trumpet player who wants some current songs to play. The CD that comes along with it makes these songs really fun to play. Plus there a re a LOT of songs in this book. I'm really glad about this purchase.

This cd in the book just destroyed my laptop causing me to lose every memory I had on it. I am unable to restore anything on my computer because the virus the cd put on my computer completely deleted everything. It even deleted windows 10 so I can't even turn it on.

Do not buy. Disc was blank which made it very disappointing and of no use to me.

Can't praise this book highly enough. A really wide range of songs from Bill Hailey to Katy Perry should find something for anyone. Transcribing rock is always tricky but they've done a good job here. Backing tracks on play-along books often tend to be really cheesy, but these are way ahead of most, with proper instruments well arranged. The level is probably up to grade 5 I'd guess, would be nice to have some more challenging tracks/arrangements. But overall a great book I'll be using for ages.

I bought many books with CD and this one is the best one .The arrangement for the music is incredible easy to follow and the sound on the CD is great

Fun book. Would suit players who are past the basics and looking for a variety of challenges. Required range is reasonable - mostly in or below the stave, the odd note just above, at G/A. Accurate rhythms from original songs. A number of these songs are not in any other collection I’ve seen. Good quality print and minimal number of page turns. Wide range of songs from various decades. Not used any of the other features advertised eg piano charts etc. but my experience gives me confidence in the quality. Recommended.
