Great book. Easy to learn songs

I'm pleased with this Bob Marley Ukulele book. If you're a fan of the Daily Ukulele (Jumpin' Jim Beloff), then you're in luck because this Bob Marley songbook follows a similar layout/pattern. You get the full lyrics and chord changes, but you also get the melody "staff" lines.So if you can read music, you can pick out the melody lines here (I am trying to teach myself that piece, so this is good for that).Size-wise, the book is about the same dimensions as the Daily Ukulele, but much skinnier. However, this is not in a spiral, which might have been a little better.Also, the font on this is extremely B I G and spaced out. Most of the songs take up 3-4 pages. This requires page-flipping throughout every song, which is a little annoying. I.m not a great ukulele player and found the transcribed music very helpful. No magic though, i'm going to have to practice practice practice.

Who can say anything negative about a Bob Marley ukulele songbook? Having lots of fun with the easy to play chords.

Great book to learn all the notes with the correct timing on words. Love it.

book was new, delivery was fast. Love it.

It contains all of Bob's iconic songs notated in large easy to see staff notation. Reading includes many syncopations and frequent use of the upper positions of the ukulele fingerboard, so not a beginner's book. The lead sheet style notation means this book is universal use for any G-clef instrument. Of course, if you use it for guitar or piano you'll need to know how to play chords from the chord symbol, e.g., Csus4, since the chord diagrams are uke only. The main drawback is large notes makes for too many page turns. I'd prefer smaller notes and closer staves and less page turns. Also, this is a notes and chord symbol only book so no tablature for non-note readers.

Love actually having book in front of me that I can add nites to etc. Basic chords layout but still a good book. Can't fault Bob's music. Wish it gave more guidance on Reggie strums

This is a well presented music book. The selected songs include lyrics and melody in standard musical notation. The Ukulele chords are complete and easy to follow. Unfortunately , each song is spread over 3-5 pages with repeats and Codas which require flipping back and forth. And I’ll save you looking up the ukulele chords for Exodus and Get Up Stand Up. Am. Am. Am. Am. Am. Am. Am.

Compré el libro para regalar y me comentan que en el Kindle se ven muy pequeñas las partituras y si amplian no se ve la partitura completa.

Libro molto bello, contiene sia lo strumming che le note cantate per 20 canzoni reggae di bob marley, il tutto arrangiato per l'ukulele. Consigliatissimo ai principianti come me, riuscirete tranquillamente a suonare le più facili, poi piano piano ce ne sono di più difficili, e il bello è proprio di riuscire a far quelle con il tempo. Le canzoni sono tutte belle, ed il libro si presenta molto bene quindi lo consiglio anche per un regalo a qualche appassionato di musica reggae.Come sempre ottime le condizioni di spedizione e tempi di arrivo di Amazon.

Leider ist das Buch fast unbrauchbar, da denkbar ungünstig (um)gesetzt.Nur 2-3 Takte pro Zeile, jeder Song geht über 3-4 Seiten, was das spielen ohne zu Blättern dank der unsäglichen Platzverschwendung unmöglich macht.Bisher leider das mit Abstand schlechteste Ukulele-Buch von Hal-Leonard!
