Lumos Kickstart Bicycle Helmet, Unisex

What an absolute quality piece of kit this is!. Probably the best cycle helmet I have owned in over 55 years of cycling. Very well made, extremely comfortable, (my head measures 56cms), and gives a real feeling of security when worn. As for the lighting system...all I can say is that it is first rate. I was concerned that without a smart phone I would not be able to utilise the lights and the turn signals, but after communication with the sellers, (which was first rate by the way) and after receiving the item, my fears have proved to be completely unfounded. It worked straight from the box and even if it hadn't, the instructions that came with it, would have enabled 'syncing' without any problems. The handlebar attachment that operates the turn signals is unobtrusive and fits easily using the rubber bands provided.This is without a doubt, an extremely well thought out and manufactured item and whilst it may seem to be expensive, I believe it is worth every penny. I understand that the 'stop light' system is still in Beta, but I have to say that the one on my helmet, works fine. If you are in the market for a very well made, all singing, all dancing cycle helmet, that will not only increase your presence on the road but will make your cycling safer, then I would wholeheartedly recommend this item. I for one, consider it money extremely well spent and MY family pet name is Scrooge!

happy so far. well built helmet. battery seems to last six journeys of 14 miles each ( but i haven't used the brake light function yet, which apparantly drains the battery quicker) The remote battery is still going strong on 90%. The lights are bright and i am told that they are visible in day light too. I like the convenience of having turn indicators but do not rely on them completely.Looks cool. the only crib is that the three lights on the front of the helmet ( under the front peak, to let you know if the indicators are on) are a bit blinding in the night. Not very heavy. Pricey but would recommend it.

I love it, the lid i have been looking for fits the bill perfectly. looks very good quality indeed the switch for the flashers on the handlebars looks quality too. works straight out the box. the flashers have a beeping warning tone and an amber led under the peak in your peripheral vision to minimise the risk of leaving them on and even if you do they go off automatically after a short while. ~ if you want to get noticed out on the road then this will certainly do that.a little heavier than a standard lid but that becomes unnoticeable after a while looks great when unlit as well. top marks to the developers thanks guys hope the battery lasts the duration.

Although I had an issue with the delivery (No fault to the product).Best helmet I have owned.The fit is comfortable and provides sufficient airflow.Helmet connected to the app without any issues, configuring the helmet with updates and preferences.The lights are bright both during the day (For indicator use) and at night.Charges fine via the magnetic charger (Wish I had two for home and work).

Very nice helmet and useful functions.It helps to be seen and to indicate turns.The battery does not last very long and one of the elastics broke after 2 months.

Best helmet I have ever owned. Excellent lighting system and drivers do actually take note of the indicators. Very impressed. One minor thing- manufacturers could have developed a better charging system.

You can never be too visible when on a bike - this is perfect. Love the indicators! Well made, good fit. Easy to charge up and batteries last up to 5 hours in constant use. All my cycling mates are jealous!

I've wanted one of these since it started on Kickstarter.Absouloughtly fantastic.Fits superb, and is as bright as can be.Love the brake light function, wish I bought one sooner.
