8-Ft. Red and White Ornamental Windmill - Know Which Way The Wind Blows

We bought this windmill for my Nana's backyard garden and she was really impressed--- not easy to do when all you have to go on is a product description and a few photos, but our local garden and retail hardware stores in our area didn't have what we were looking for, so we thought we'd attempt to get it online. We got it with prime shipping, and it was easy to put together in under an hour and get staked into the ground as well too. The quality of this windmill lawn ornament is really superb; it's sturdy even in the crazy winds going on in the South right now, and Nana has reported no trouble with the thing being blowing over. Still standing high, which makes us happy, because we know that if it DID blow over that Nana wouldn't tell anyone and she'd try to set it back in the ground herself, which she doesn't need to do--- when I say sturdy, this windmill comes in at 33 pounds and is 8 feet tall--- so it's nice that the company really chipped in for the quality of this product and my Nana doesn't have too much upkeep with it. The color is still glowing red even after a cold winter, so the paint is great and shiny too. This piece just creates that picturesque view out your window on a breezy day, that windmill fan blowing in the wind, bright red against the green grass in the backyard around it, and it doesn't make any horrible squeaking noises as it spins either. Totally go for this if you're looking for a bigger part of your garden or lawn decor. Sad to see it's sold out now; hopefully they'll get more in soon.

It looks awesome. Cheaply made from the thinest materials. If you want a 5 year windmill that looks cute, buy it. I told my wife to bring it indoors during winter to extend its red coating and to make it last about 10 years. The price moves around by 20% or more on this item so dont rush. Put it in your cart and wait a few weeks to get the best price.

For the price this unit is better than expected. The Zerk grease fitting is a great plus. Went together easy with (2) people, about an hour total. I bought lock washers to insure better tightening and bought longer stakes as the ones provided didn't seem long enough to hold this in place in high winds.

Took us around an hour to put together with no problems, looks so nice in the front yard. I had an old water pump that I painted red and put beside it. Really nice. We dug holes for the legs of the windmill and pour some cement in it to keep it sturdy. The blades run like a champ. So glad we bought this.

This is tall....and it works well, even in the wind. Would recommend it to people that like wind.

We LOVE our windmill. I bought this for my husband's birthday. He said it was no problem to put together and we get compliments from all our guests. The red really stand out in the yard too.

Well satisfied with the quality parts and heavier construction. My last windmill only lasted one year. Only improvement I would suggest is to have lock nuts/ and or lock washers so bolts don't shake loose.

We love this windmill. It arrived missing some parts, but the company sent the missing parts very quickly. It was easy to put together, and is spinning around in our back yard.
